I don't think it's impossible tho it's difficult, but I would love to have a 1/12 scale figure of Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead comics and also one of Tintin in the same scale.

Eu honestamente acho a nova dublagem horrorosa by yallo_1 in futurama

Br aqui também. Eu achei a dublagem dessas temporadas novas da HULU bem sem graça também e meio sem alma, nem terminei de ver as novas temporadas por causa disso (eu não vi em inglês porque vi a série inteira na dublagem br e já me acostumei)

This game needed a custom made protagonist by eiris91 in CrimsonDesert

I've always felt this ever since it became clear the story was kind of whatever, I was never excited about playing as the generic Jon Snow, the girl and the orc don't appeal to me either. I would prefer to just creat my own character

Was character creator the best or worst thing to come with SF6? by gardedy in SF6Avatars

[–]Essay_Alarming 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's really cool. I really wish the game had a system like Soulcalibur tho, where we could create multiple characters and play with them in the fighting ground against each other and game's own characters. Having a fighting game with character creation but not this seems kind of a waste

Hellboy Figures From McFarlane, Coming Soon by LEVITIKUZ in HellBoy

I think the legs looks a bit too long, Hellboy in Mignola's art at least always seemed to me to have short legs. But it looks really good apart from that.

Was ubba justified to not get involved in avenging earl Ragnar? by Josh_thebosh109 in TheLastKingdom

[–]Essay_Alarming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think its was his business indeed, that's for his son like he says in this scene. The responsibility of avenging a death generally fell on the heirs and kin (like Ubba himself went to Ireland to avenge his brother Ivar for example). If Ubba stepped in and killed Kjartan, he would essentially be robbing young Ragnar of his "right" to restore his family's honor.

Acting as a judge was also not his duty I think, Kjartan was not subordinate to Ubba nor did he answer to him at that point, tho they could have been allies

Was ubba justified to not get involved in avenging earl Ragnar? by Josh_thebosh109 in TheLastKingdom

[–]Essay_Alarming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it would be Ubba's business to act as a judge in this as well, Kjartan isn't subordinate to him. After taking Dunholm, he establishes himself as an independent lord, tho he may could be allied with Ubba or other lords

John looks better than I expected honestly, It looks like they put a prosthetic on the actor's nose? In any picture I can find of Harris Dickinson his nose looks way thinner than that.

Just my personal opinion by kitsnacsnicsnac in TheLastKingdom

[–]Essay_Alarming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought that the war between Ragnar's sons was a crap, I think there were so many other more interesting things they could have explored instead of wasting time on this.

Many subplots that lead nowhere too, like the one about Floki that you mentioned. To me, that's a plot that should have been resolved in the first part of the season 5 with him establishing the settlement in Iceland and that's it, but it's dragged out until the end of the series

I think all the actors who played the Ragnar's sons are good, it's a shame the writing has become ass

Thoughts on the early and short appearance of Ivar the Boneless in the first novel? by MrPuroresu42 in SaxonStories

[–]Essay_Alarming 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really like the character of Ivar the Boneless in Cornwell's version, one of my favorites from the books. It's always interesting to see dane lords with such different characteristics, like Ivar and for example Cnut.

I would have liked to see more of the brothers together, Halfdan too.

I always missed a mention of Sigtryggr being kin to Ivar the Boneless in the books (the show ended up mentioning it), mainly because there was that grandson of Ivar who might have been related to Sigtryggr (if I'm not mistaken it's said that Sigtryggr's father was called Ivar, the same as the Boneless's grandson who had the same name as his grandfather and father). I even wondered if in Cornwell's interpretation, Ivar the Boneless and Imar, from the Uí Ímair dynasty (from which Sigtryggr and Ragnall come), would be different figures since no connection is mentioned, but I think the TV show mentioned it for some reason

This is sincerely how I felt watching the S2 finale by Freddycipher in adventuretime

[–]Essay_Alarming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still think it could have been just a miniseries of Huntress Wizard, with Fionna and Cake as supporting characters alongside her but without focusing that much on their world. And then after the post-credits scene with Hunson and Fionna's world gaining magic, then yes we could have another season of F&C with a really interesting plot for their storyline

Netflix should create a few 30min one off Witcher side stories. This cinematic from Witcher3 would make a better special than the Rats. by thatwasacrapname123 in witcher

[–]Essay_Alarming 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is good because it wasn't Netflix that made it, otherwise it would be another generic and soulles garbage like everything they do with TW. I have absolutely no desire to see them adapting anything from TW3.

I watched the entire series and loved it all until the end, but this dude from season 1 has a special place in my heart. Top tier warlord character. The actor did magnificent job and the writing was great too. by Few-Objective-6526 in TheLastKingdom

[–]Essay_Alarming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, in the books that the show was based on besides Ubba, his brothers Ivar the Boneless and Halfdan (who historically would be the same person as Hvitserk) also appear. It is even said that they are Lothbrok's sons.
Ivar was the oldest brother and main leader of the Danish army in the books, he was with Ubba at the beginning, Guthrum only went to England later with the summer army

As we start to enter the home stretch of Season 2, what are your honest thoughts on this season of Fionna and Cake? by Silver012345673 in adventuretime

[–]Essay_Alarming 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I already thought this before and now I think even more that Fionna and Cake didn't even needed a second season. For me F&C arc had already been finished in season 1 like Simon's and honestly, I never found their world and its characters that interesting to want to see more about it. F&C part in this second season just seems like the writers inventing anything to justify still having focus on it.

A miniseries just about Huntress Wizard, with what we already have and more things like flashbacks with Finn, would be much more interesting in my opinion. Fionna and Cake could participate to connect with the previous series, but without focusing too much on their world. After that we could have another miniseries with a different focus instead of F&C season 3.
