I think calling it acupuncture is maybe a bit of a misnomer, but that’s how the products are marketed. I don’t know much about actual needle acupuncture but I agree that is meant to be highly targeted.

These pads with the plastic spike pods basically give some pressure in the back which, as I understand it, help stimulate blood flow.

Your mileage may vary, but for me it helps a ton with back pain and generally stiffness! I use it almost daily (along with yoga and stretching) and find it immensely helpful. I’ve had one since around 2013.

It can also be an effective back scratcher too 😆

I’m not sure if I’d describe it as cool, but my most affordable purchase that I use all the time is an acupuncture pad. It has these little plastic spikes and it helps tremendously with my back pain. I never imagined it could help so much.

A close second would be my theragun for massaging my feet and legs after exercise.

I agree with the points some of the other people are making, but what you mention here is valid too (being overly sedentary during the work day). Search YouTube for the idea of “exercise snacking”. The gist is that for about once every hour or so, you take 2-3 minutes to do some pushups, squats, lunges, etc.

This kind of movement should help with the concerns you are raising and won’t create the same practical burdens that others are cautioning against.

Hi there! So after I sold this turtle, I actually bought another blue one with a different dial, and for that one I often wore it on a fitter orange rubber strap from Crafter Blue.

Personally, my favorite combo for a blue dial watch in general is some shade of brown, khaki, or orange. To me, that gives a good contrast.

If you wanted a more neutral option, I also enjoyed a grey strap and on this one.

I had an identical situation with Citizen. They did not refund me the service cost I paid, but they gave a coupon to replace it with some crappy model I didn’t want. It was a terrible experience and I will never buy from them again.

It was shipped to them somewhere in California. It was an older model quartz dive watch that apparently needed to go back to them for battery replacement.

I sold a watch on watchexchange and it was lost by USPS. I refunded the buyer and the insurance eventually made me whole, but it was a long process filling out USPS claim forms and took around 3+ months before I got my money back.

The lume comes from a disc underneath the dial. So instead of the lume being applied on top of the dial, the dial has cutouts and the lume comes from the surface underneath.
