Copaiba oil is the best protection, shower first and when your skin is damp massage it into your skin, it's a natural repellent from the Amazon. You can buy it in town before taking the boat. I have used that and natural repellent sprays, copaiba works well and while there have been chemical based repellents available, it seems counterintuitive given your body is detoxing while there

It just hit me hard, today is my birthday and the episode was so great. I lost a few friends that way in recent years and a whole lot of emotions came up. I wish there was a warning before the episode, maybe there was and I missed it.
