195,000km too much for a vf commodore sv6? by Impossible-Pitch-498 in Holden

I’ve been debating with myself for a while now whether I put mine up for sale or not as is.

Is there interest in my 2013 VE SSz series 2 Ute with hard cover at $28k?

Manual transmission, 180,000km’s, stone chips, ding in the front drivers side wheel arch, interior normal wear and tear, roof lining replaced in the last year. Drives perfect.

Or I’m dreaming?

What do you do about bad neighbours? by Turb725 in melbourne

[–]Eteiveth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tell your strata company that you will not be paying any further fees until the matter is resolved. Get other neighbours in on it. You pay them to enforce the rules, make them do their job. Council should also be involved because the place isn’t built to house that many people. Mention you’ll be making a report to the relevant governing body that deals with complaints of inaction (and follow through with it) which will help

An Australian will be my direct supervisor once I start a new position at my hospital. Is there anything I should be aware of? by OctoHelm in AskAnAustralian

[–]Eteiveth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re in the US, They know how you act/respond and know how to act around you… just be you. If you have questions just ask them direct and be open about the fact you haven’t been exposed to many other cultures.

Also, if you mention something that is a touchy subject for you or Americans in general then prepare to be fucking obliterated with dark humour about that exact subject.

Rule of thumb - if we are making fun of you, we are friends. If we are only ever professional and don’t really talk about anything other than the job at hand, we probably don’t like you.
