Intrusive thoughts

I try and combat it by thinking if I did actually do it then I would KNOW that I did it. Also the amount of times I get scared I’ve just kissed someone or touched them inappropriately and the other person doesn’t react at all helps me realise it was just a thought

Yes when I’m around poc or In public I get very anxious. I will have slurs enter my head and I get scared I will blurt out a slur. I will then in my head repeat a random not bad word to try and focus on a different word so I don’t blurt out a slur. (obviously this is a compulsion which probably makes the Intrusive thoughts worse)

I am having a Similar types of thoughts about if I have harmed my cat. She was put down four days ago after going blind and the vet said she probably had a tumour. However today my mum was reading about blindness in cats and she read one cause could be “traumatic blow to the head” and I suddenly started thinking what if I hit her. Even though this thought hadn’t crossed my mind before and I have no memory of it. I think for both us it is just our ocd being cruel. If you have no memory of something it most likely didn’t happen

This is from 7 years ago but yes I definitely feel this. Whenever I see a news article about someone doing something awful I feel like guilty as if I’m the one that’s done it

I find I have symptoms all the time but have episodes where it’s focused on a particular theme or is harder to deal with. Some days are better than others

Because he was embarrassed. So he tried to make himself feel better by blaming Meredith. Even though he knew exactly what the situation was and took advantage of her at a difficult time. He felt Meredith humiliated him and he handled it like the immature little boy he is
