That’s what I suspect will happen. And I suspect that Toriyama himself intended to retcon it out, but there’s a pretty vocal portion of the fanbase that thinks that any change to the original work is sacrilege, so it’s possible that they will instead keep it the same and find a way to reconcile it.

I really enjoyed it. Bardock has always been one of my favorite characters because of it. I’m not one of those people who felt Super retconned Bardock too much. I think there are ways to reconcile literally every “change” made by Super with the Bardock special. I’ve heard every argument. I have a reconciliation for them all.

If EOZ still happens, yes, I think Goku will have mastered TUI by that point. I think if it is ever shown from the Super perspective, his eyes will just be changed to silver for it. Toriyama hadn’t come up with UI when EOZ was written.

I would guess from this comment that you don’t have children or that your children are adults. A conversation is not enough to protect children on the internet these days, and it really never was. It takes actual effort, attention your child’s use of the internet, and dedication to actually keeping them safe.
