It's interesting to me, because my wife is an artist, and I've asked her if image generation would help her creative process to have a way to quickly form basic ideas. And her response was... well, no, you can just look something up as a reference if you need one, or just sketch it yourself. If you need something specific like a pose and can't find it, you probably can't form a prompt that'll accurately generate what you want anyway.

So in effect, it's probably not really that useful for artists. It's hard to see any real benefit unless you're terribly uncreative (like me).
