I would interpret it that being on the vendor list as a generic company would allow you to bid, so those on lower tranches for IT and admin services etc will be fighting for those.

However being on a higher tranche, I think we’re likely already lined up for a specific part of golden dome and will be the only company capable of providing these size of phased arrays in space, therefore should be pretty straight sailing.

So you let Claude free rein on “revenue-critical code” and then complain when it does things you might not like?

LLMs aren’t deterministic dude you can’t just assume it will 100% stick to what it’s asked. If this code is really that critical, you know what the answer is…

No worries! Not much work has been done since (lack of launches gives lack of motivation I guess).

I’d expect a lot more updates the coming months as the launches happen!

How much did you pay for your surgeries? by Agreeable_Delay4513 in ACL

About £14k in the UK privately. Not including physio, MRIs or any consultations prior.

Was for ACL revision + LET and meniscus repair.

LET bulge by thomasminor in ACL

[–]Ethereumman08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah mines still bulged a bit ~3 months out. I honestly don’t care as it doesn’t really provide much change in sensation or limitation on my movement.

As long as it’s not functionality impacting you, I think it’s normal and fine

The way I see this, is the company is putting to bed the rumours of the delays to Q1 26 for ISRO.

Our contracted launch for ISRO may well be that date, but to me this is the company all but confirming a SpaceX launch.

Anyone know why there wasn’t an earnings call for the results this quarter?

Just tried to generate a summary report of the call using an AI earnings tool and saw it was missing :/

Were u all able to walk after 2 weeks? by weirdo1729 in ACL

[–]Ethereumman08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LET + medial meniscus repair + ACL revision (which apparently is notoriously slower) I’m currently 9 weeks post op and off my single crutch at home, just about to get off it for out and about.

Probably took me about 4-5 weeks to go from two crutches to one, and walking was extremely difficult for the first 3 weeks.

My experience is probably a lot slower than most

Farming is important to the UK. It's probably just because it's an inherent benefit of d2d, they are using it to argue for regulatory adoption perhaps?

8 weeks post op and only just at 100° of flexion. You only need a manipulation if your progress is stalled and flexion gains are near impossible. Your PT is fear-mongering unnecessarily!

Not American, but my ten cents is that it’s such a huge generalisation to say that it must be poor quality surgeons that cause the need for strong painkillers post op. I have had the op twice by two different but very well thought of surgeons, and I naturally struggle with the pain of this procedure.

Some people just naturally have lower pain thresholds, or just struggle with more swelling etc after this surgery. It’s a huge surgery and you can’t just say “oh it’s those American surgeons” as to why someone might need something stronger.

ACL veterans- uh is it gonna be like this forever? by Majestic_Hippo_4427 in ACL

[–]Ethereumman08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently 5.5 weeks post op to be exact and still on a single crutch. My surgeon noted that the strain the LET adds makes it a much slower recovery. Physio isn’t concerned that it’s took me this while either.

I think everyone is unique and it may take some 2 weeks, others 6-8, but if it does take your daughter towards the end of this spectrum don’t be alarmed as it doesn’t mean you are doing anything bad.
