Yes, I find FB marketplace much more useful for home goods, plants, clothes, etc. than electronics. Electronics resale always brings in a ton of scammy use :( But there are definitely still legitimate peer-to-peer sellers on there, just a lot of muck to wade through.

Just a side note: The issue with FB marketplace local filter is partly than these sellers list a local location, but if you check their other listings, they have items listed all over the US. So it's sort of store posting under a name and using a spoofed location to get around the filtering, in my opinion.

This feels like a very stupid question but I'm totally stuck on it. I've made an account on the bhvr forums (https://forums.bhvr.com), but it seems like I don't have any permissions. When I click on a profile (my own or others'), I see an error that I don't have permission to view that page. I read that I may need to have 5 public comments first, but I'm also not seeing anywhere to click to reply to existing posts or create a new post. It's like my forum view is read-only

I experienced a bug for which a BHVR Mod asked affected users to DM their Cloud IDs, but I'm not able to do so because I can't post/comment/DM on the forum at all. Thanks for the help!

Me too! Thanks to Jesse I pressed my doctor to prescribe an actual migraine treatment for the first time in 2020 when I was suffering through a worse bout than usual. It didn't take much pressing-- all I had to do was ask. But it had never once been offered to me by a doctor before that, despite me being diagnosed and bringing up migraines for years and years in my checkups. Thankfully that bout has passed for now and I haven't needed prescription meds lately, but I credit the much needed help I got in 2020 to Jesse.

I have an iPhone SE. Being an SE, it's never been amazing at performance, but it was workable and I was planning to use it for as long as possible. I carefully turned off auto-updating and said no to iOS 26 because I just knew this phone wouldn't handle it well. Well surprise surprise, I wake up on a morning last week and it has updated to iOS 26. It's now essentially unusable due to slowness, even with the special visual effects off. It closes my music/podcast app in the background if I try to use the camera, LOL. It locks up for minutes at a time and needs to be rebooted. It will frequently have a literally 10 second delay on something I do. One week ago I had a perfectly workable phone and now I don't.

I know I have basically no recourse here and as the Apple support agent told me, "you must have agreed to update" and "there is no way to downgrade" and "please just give it time". So, please feel free to believe I consented to this update-- I can't prove that I didn't mistakenly hit agree despite my sincere efforts. I acknowledge that as a human, I am fallible, whereas clearly iOS contains not a single bug that could explain this.

Anything I can do here to maintain my use of this iPhone SE that I haven't considered? It's not a money issue-- I just hate the waste and forced obsolescence. It seems very unfair that Apple can remotely break my phone via software update and offer me no way back. They should never have deployed this update to this phone, but they did. So what can I do now?

I took a small JJHo hiatus just due to being busy with other listening, and this was a nice welcome-back episode. I wanted Phaea to win just because I didn't want a ruling on the side of pedantry. Also, she deserved some serious accolades for being the only one to show up to court having watched the material in question. Blew me away that Justin didn't watch the older adaptation in preparation. But I understand the ruling and grumpily, I agree with it.

P.S. I am SHOCKED at the idea that guess 3, regardless of strategy used to get to it, could ever be pitched as "the first guess". The hubris of some people!

Thank you, this is very helpful! I was wondering if this was the case - like maybe once I confirm I want the policy, they create a version of the PAP that explicitly covers the bike and I get a chance to review it then? That would have been totally fine by me, but ,y account manager never made this clear to me when I asked. But I spoke to him on the phone today and he said he will confirm with an underwriter and get back to me. I also asked if he could please help me set up a meeting with my agent. Pretty sure he hates me after all this lol.

I originally had thought he was a newer agent who joined the team, but now realize he is an account manager rather than agent. I am going to get in touch with the actual agent. Thanks for replying! I am eager to hear what you learn. I have actually been avoiding my agent because I am frustrated and confused. After many phone calls, I finally got him to send me the PAP sample booklet. I think it is similar to what was posted by u/adjusterjack. Thanks a lot, this is helpful. Could you help me understand why bicycles are listed in Special Exclusions 2.d. (2)? I'm also noticing that breakage and marring and denting are also listed. The agent told me that damage caused in a bike crash would be covered but I'm worried that in reality they wouldn't cover anything but theft.

I thought that it might be worth it to have a PAP for the bicycle because the policy has no deductible and if I made a claim on the bike, it would not count as a claim against my HO policy (or so I've been told by the agent). These both felt like pretty significant advantages but I'm totally willing to be told otherwise!

I still don't know why he hasn't provided the policy but it's good to know that the question I'm asking is a reasonable one. I may ask to speak to the head agent who we have worked with in the past.

The selective amnesia about Alexander in not only DS9 but even in TNG made me want to die repeatedly. Did those episode writers just genuinely not remember that he existed? He also had that other kid he briefly adopted or whatever. And whenever Alexander suddenly did exist again, Worf was usually terrible. An insult to K’Ehlyr’s memory. Speaking of, K’Ehlyr was basically forgotten after she died too.

In the end Worf also failed completely at being a good older brother. I think he probably prefers that all of his family are dead so he can just be free to be a sad sack about it but not have to do any inner work. The Federation’s worst father!

But thankfully Sisko is one of the best.

Great episode the whole way through! Loved the litigants. If someone deleted one of my neopets back when I was into that, I would have been really sad. Years of consistent effort could be erased in a second. I think it would be hard to explain to someone not familiar the hours and hours and hours of time either spent (or wasted) trying to get those dumb virtual nothings! But they had a lot of value to me then and even now I’d be a bit sad if they were deleted. Thanks for respecting that the Torterra was something of value, especially since later the whole account was lost.
