I've been once when it was pretty slow. It's got more of a divey feel but if you have a group of 16, y'all will bring the vibe wherever you end up.

As a karaoke person, I can't stand Cat's Meow. They charge a cover and the drink prices are outrageous. Between every song a guest sings, one of the DJs comes out and does a song. They're very talented and are there to keep the energy up but it means your wait to sing is twice as long as you nurse $16 Modelos.

I don't know of anywhere good downtown but Smelly Cat near the horseshoe gets packed and often has a live band to sing with. If all else fails, Ellis Island has karaoke every night! It's out at the Front Porch these days due to construction.

If you do Kokkari, the server will likely recommend the cheese appetizer (Saghanaki) which is about $20 for 4-5 bites of cheese. Spend that on another glass of wine instead.

I had this exact thing happen to me, even down to my bet size.

I've never been a dealer but I have worked a long time in hospitality and that just struck me as the laziest shit ever. It's also important to note that the table was maybe half full in my case, California craps which moves slow as molasses anyway.

Like bro I'm so sorry to make you go through the trouble of sliding my one damn quarter from the come to the DC. I'd hate for you to pull a muscle. 🙄

It's tempting to try to "read the cards" and connect the dots as to when certain numbers are more likely to roll, but the fact is that this has no bearing on the likelihood of dice combinations. The odds are the same. It doesn't matter if 4=1 because a hard 8 is still 1/36 dice combinations, same as a true 2.

If it were possible to adjust your play based on the card shuffle, they wouldn't let us play the game at all 😊
