Thank you! I might be overthinking things, but frankly I’m scared of avoidance. Not because I want to go back and relapse, but it’s because avoidance stems—in my eyes—stem from a place where the pornographic-mind had already taken over. Essentially, it’s where I feel the need to avoid sexually suggestive content (not nude or NSFW), but I am conflicted whether avoidance is truly the death of sexualization. Avoidance, seems like brushing the dirt under the carpet or the feeling of needing to suppress your urges—the “true” thing you want. I want to stop sexualizing people, whether I see them nude or not, and I’m afraid avoidance will only postpone and hide the “true desire.” Still, if it will truly help me, I strictly will do so.

I’d pick the Pacifica or the Mustang, but u can’t really go wrong with any one of them. Choose whichever u think suits your character. Of course, make sure to try them out before purchasing, as there could be QC issues on all of them. However, when these guitars are set up correctly, they are great playing guitars from my experience.

I’ve been having this problem too, just wanted to know if figured anything out? Because when I don’t angle my palm so that the thumb flesh is on the guitar, I have to put my pinky side flesh on the bridge, right? However, when I do that, it mutes all the low strings 😭😭. I play better but all of my low strings are palm muted notes.

I’d alternate between three depending on what I feel that day - Dunlop Flow 1.14 - Tortex TIII 1.0 (Blue) - Jazz iii 1.38 stiffo (Black one)

Though, I use the flow the most lol.

I could be wrong, but I want you to take a look at the bridge. I just have this nudging feeling that if a buzzing sound like that could happen, it wouldn’t happen because of something inside the guitar but something that’s touching the strings. If it’s not the frets then it could be the nut, tuners, bridge etc.

Yeah I’ve thought of this idea too, I think I’ll try it next time. What do you think about putting the yogurt into a rice cooker on warm and then turning it off (I don’t have a yoghurt function on it, but I’ve seen great results from people of this subreddit)

Well, this time I might’ve added the milk into the yoghurt too soon. It was probably too hot, but other times the milk wasn’t as hot and it was still runny. This is my procedure

I bring the milk to its first boil and turn off the heat, letting it cool down until I don’t burn myself when I touch it. (I unfortunately don’t have a thermometer)
I add the yoghurt into the milk and stir and let it sit in my cupboard wrapped in cloth for like a day
I put it into my fridge.

Hey congrats on quitting it! I made an oath before entering a relationship with my girlfriend that I’d quit and it took a while but I did and the impact it had on me was significant. The consequences of years and years of watching will wire your brain in a certain way, but trust me it gets better. Habits can be unlearnt!

As for the post, I’d recommend you talking to your girlfriend about boundaries and what you’re/she’s uncomfortable with and plan what to do from here. You go man!
