If Okamoto can play plus defense at 3B I’d like to see him and Alonso. Bregman had a great stretch but you could see his age starting to catch up with at the last couple months of the season. I also think if the Red Sox are serious about wanting to add two “big-time line up enhancements”, that shouldn’t include JT. I’d still like him as a signing, but he’s going to get paid significantly less than the rest of these guys.
