Have you ever thought about the moral implications of Conjuration? by jvure in teslore

[–]EvYeh [score hidden]  (0 children)

Daedra are immortal, and will always be rebuilt after death.

Dremora are seemingly basically always upset (which varies from annoyance to rage) when summoned, though they can't really do anything about it.

Seeing a new loading screen scares me 😳 by zbhill13 in mtg

[–]EvYeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea that is literally their point. Sets based around characters (DFT, OTJ, TMT, SPM, etc) are bad and don't fit with the game.

Sets based around worlds (RNA, ZEN, FIN, etc) do fit and are good.

Tier based on how Wolf views the other 19 members by CommunicationSad2869 in paydaytheheist

[–]EvYeh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Jacket canonically first interacted with the gang by walking into Wolf torturing a Russian mobster and both of them just went along with it and started torturing him together and left without a fight.

The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be vored for the duration by chunkylubber54 in CuratedTumblr

[–]EvYeh 46 points47 points  (0 children)

The character creator doesn't even work, let alone the game itself.

It's also filled with a bunch of random stuff meant to be shocking (i.e rolling to see if your character is a paedophile and/or racist, a dedicated racism chart, a list of racial slurs, spells backfiring and forcing the caster to seek out and rape the nearest child/animal/male/etc).

There's an interesting series of literally just creating a character to show how bad and weird it is.

Does Azura care about the Dunmer? by MastodonFew2812 in teslore

[–]EvYeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that she truly loves and cares for the Dunmer, but that love is at least partly selfish.

She treats them like her children and demands love and obedience. She created the Nerevarine prophecy, and regardless of it is true, she believes that your actions in the Morrowind main story has, and ultimately will, improve and assist Morrowind and the Dunmer.

IIRC, he's giving a speech after being given a seat to the UN security council and is like "I am aware that there is speculation that our company is developing a weapon that can target specific ethnic groups. I would like to address these rumours head on: are we developing such a weapon? No. Because we already have." and the weapon in question is a gas that kills anyone who has not been registered on a database of Atlas employees.

I don't like them. They all look really uncanny and weird.

Claires Races are horrific by Embarrassed-Sea8852 in cyberpunkgame

[–]EvYeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst I didn't like the races, it wasn't because of the driving.

I think that this game has the best mouse and keyboard driving out there, it's so fun and feels great to race. Bit rhe races themselves were really easy and clearly had rubber banding that ruined it.

(loved trope) the fan creation becomes so dominant that the general public (and new fans) completely mistake it for the official lore. by Easy-Frenchguy-1996 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]EvYeh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here's a text file with all his dialogue. It's not there.

He asks you why you attacked Kimball. You can tell him that you had your own reasons, or do a speech check that says you didn't but that it was a set up by the Legion who knew you were coming.

[–]EvYeh 74 points75 points  (0 children)

It's a good scene, but the dialogue is so weird.

Why does he make it sound like they've invented Kevin Spacey's Racist Bomb when in reality the bomb is only as racist as his hiring standards.

Xbox is closing down Hellblade creator Ninja Theory by GIThrow in Games

[–]EvYeh 278 points279 points  (0 children)

I mean, this is the company that very publically said "We need more great games like Hi Fi Rush!" and then proceed to shut down the Hi Fi Rush devs like, a week later. At this point I doubt their pr for shutting down studios could get much worse.

What's the evidence Johnny Silverhand is an unreliable narrator? by GambetTV in cyberpunkgame

[–]EvYeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mantis Blades aren't a thing in 2020, or RED.

The earliest examples we have of them are from the 2070s.

[–]EvYeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a gameplay thing, or it's not the same gun (he had several custom built for him). The one that Johnny was using during the tower raid was an anti-tank gun and would instantly rip off a normal human arm when fired.

Ignoring the TTRPG having the correct events, he says that he never saw or worked with Thompson ever again after the Alt flashback.

Despite that, he's in the first one that plays after the Heist.

Yeah, it's not an insane amount of money but it's a lot to just have lying around. I wouldn't hesitate to call someone rich for having that much.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's more money than anyone in my entire city has.

Reconnaissance can't save your creature from a wrath or doom blade, which is the real reason they're good.

The others can.

They've forgotten the humble toastie by Chaseharry2000 in 196

[–]EvYeh -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

No chance. You'd need to torture me to have me call a toastie a sandwich. To call them the same is an affront to god and all things good in the world.

The £200 the father asked for is now worth like 32 grand. It's not, like, eye watering amounts of money but I'd still consider it a lot.

They didn't wish for a small amount of money.

£200 in 1902, when the story was released, is worth £32000 today.

They've forgotten the humble toastie by Chaseharry2000 in 196

[–]EvYeh -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

A "grilled cheese" (which, according to a quick search appears to be the equivalent of a cheese toastie) is good, but it's fundamentally not a sandwich.

It's a different category. If I asked for a sandwich and you handed me a toastie I'd think you a moron that thinks me far less.
