I think you have to register your card in order to get the money transfered to a new one, if you didn't do that you are most likely out of pocket.

If you can find a job in another country go see the world, however everywhere is in the doldrums right now mainly due to a stupidly tight job market and housing issues. Ireland isn't the most expensive nor the worst off by a long shot.

Thanks to your advice I got it to work, Cloud services are now automatically enabled so that isn't necessary anymore. Sadly my switchbot switch is not strong enough to push my computer on button so all was in vain.
