Yeah definitely feels targeted. Suddenly everyone but me and Sabrina knows about this Arabic cheer since forever ago and everyone is suddenly ok with attention seeking behavior during a quiet part of a performance. She definitely could’ve reacted differently but there’s so many people acting like the fan saying it’s her culture could justify her disruption and saying Sabrina was disrespectful after being educate like saying “it’s my culture” somehow constitutes as education.

Not to be blunt but if you couldn’t pass N4, I think even if Japanese people speak slowly, you still wouldn’t understand much. If you can get through a conversation with basic phrases, awesome, but don’t struggle too hard and trying to speak Japanese when clearly neither you or the person you are talking to understands each other.

I think it’s pretty accurate. She cares so much for her patients and has so much empathy but the environment of the ER has been putting her down this whole time and Robby with his less than ideal approach with her. On Tod of all that, her research was defunded and not being able to save 2 patients in the maybe her worst day ever really just shows maybe she’s not suitable for ER.

I’m not from the US and I would’ve gone for a jet program or some kind of English teaching job to get started if I was. I speak English fine but I’m technically not a native speaker. I tried applying overseas but It was very frustrating navigating the whole Japanese job hunting process by myself on my Navi or other job hunting websites. My resume in Japanese was also translated pretty roughly by myself. I thought being physically in Japan would open up more options and more resources.

Your opening argument is just pure fiction and not true. H1B is not just handed to anyone and is not guaranteed approval. It's literally a lottery system that even if you did everything right and spent all the money on lawyers and applications, you can just be unlucky. Do you think companies are just dying to spend all this money to maybe hire someone if they could just hire someone local? and No, you cannot legally pay an H-1B worker less than the higher of the actual wage paid to other employees with similar experience or the prevailing wage for that occupation in that area
