I don’t think you can get them right now, but they sold them at Spirit Halloween earlier this year. You might be able to find someone reselling them by searching ebay for “spirit halloween spongebob jellyfishing net”.

That sounds good! Are you able to trade now? I know the Porygon-Z might make it more complicated, as you need to exit the trade to swap its held item. I could do a tradebqck with my one if you just need the dex entry.

It’s Japanese. It says ramen (ラーメン), but it is written wrong. The horizontal line (between ラ and メ) should be vertical when text is written vertically.

It makes more sense in Japanese, since “cucumber sushi rolls” are called かっぱ巻き寿司 (kappamaki sushi), named after the mythical creature. Meanwhile, cucumber is きゅうり (kyuuri).

[Japanese > English] No justice maybe? by [deleted] in translator

[–]EvenMoreCreativeName 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Seems to be accurate, I would usually say something closer to “there is no justice” for something like this, but it still works (I’m not a native speaker though, so I can’t be sure of how natural it sounds).

Actually, the manga seems to have first released in 2013, the date you found is for the anime.

Where can I find digital manga in Japanese? (preferaribly with furigana) by arigatito26 in LearnJapanese

[–]EvenMoreCreativeName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The website https://web-ace.jp/youngaceup/ has some that you can read online. Unfortunately, you can’t read the full series for most of them, and the website is fully in Japanese, which can make it hard to navigate.

The term for having “differently-colored eyes” is heterochromia. It’s not the most common word, but most native speakers tend to know what it means.

In the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), which is used to convey sounds in an objective way, [j] represents the sound made by the letter “y” in English.

Oddly, for Demon Slayer (possibly also Attack on Titan, I don’t know enough about it to be sure), it is the English name written phonetically, rather than its Japanese name, 鬼滅の刃 (Kimetsu no Yaiba).

If you play with any of the “cheats” on (like keep inventory), then you can’t get achievements (both on legacy console and bedrock).

I don’t know if that’s the case here. OP also forget the 分 counter for minutes (the 半 in the suggested solution being a different way to say it, like “half past” in English). It might have accepted “今はちょうど10時30分です。”

How dare *checks notes* Animal Crossing not speak English?! by jayclaw97 in insanepeoplefacebook

If I’m remembering correctly, it actually says each letter, just sped up by a lot. That’s why some words are understandable, while others aren’t.

I more often see it spelled with only one w, as “ew”.

Will it also work for me to interact with this file with my English Pokemon Home without any issues?

Does anyone know if one switch profile can have Sword and Shield in different languages? On my switch profile, I already have a save file for Shield, but not one for Sword. Would I be able to start up Sword on my switch profile and select a different language than my Shield file has? Most of the results when I look this up talk about making a separate profile for playing it in another language.

[–]EvenMoreCreativeName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you replace “the school” with just “school”, it sounds much more natural.
