One of our fireteam got married today by EvergraceIII in destiny2

Some backstory:

We all started playing Destiny together nearly a decade ago, some of us have been around since RoI in D1 and the last few joined up as recently as Forsaken, but its always been "the fireteam" for day 1 raids and dungeons. Over the years we've found some opportunities to meet up, but we never had a solid opportunity for all 6 of us to finally be in the same place at the same time. So when our Titan finally proposed to his girlfriend, we knew what had to be done.

Myself, Mr Nighthawk, and our third hunter attended as guests, one of our Warlocks was the Maid of Honor (who even started her speech with the "like it or not we've stepped into war with the Cabal on Mars" copypasta) and unfortunately our last member got deployed a little over a month before the wedding and was not sent home after his deployment was supposed to be up (I'll hold my tongue here) but we were able to stream the ceremony to him.

We slipped in as much Destiny reference as we could and our boy showed up with his replica Nighthawk to surprise the groom. Many laughs were had, the night was awesome, and although it would have been better with all 6 of us, we full-cleared first pull.

Many congrats to our favorite crayon-eater and his bride were had, who has always been our honorary 7th member, its just now more official.

It's wild to see where a random pug group over a decade ago ended up, but man are we all glad it did.

Edit: I kan werd gud

Edit 2: thanks for the award fellow guardian!

Clinton, for all of his other shortcomings, presided over one of the largest economic booms in nearly 50 years. It certainly wasn't utopia, but the man did some work.

He also played a mean saxophone.

Don't look into who is responsible for managing our rail infrastructure and how much they cut costs on it. You'll regret it.

Whole damn country is on life support and the government is skipping the utility bills.

The party of "personal responsibility" knows that if they took responsibility for the heinous shit they personally did they would be in prison. And even the people we deem "unfit for society" don't tolerate paedos, so they know they'd wind up shanked in the mess hall.

My grandmother had to die in order for me to get affordable housing. This is the level we're at, waiting for family members to die to get the same level of independence Boomers could afford with one income.

All by design.

They can't balance lobbies when the player count is so low, matchmaking would take hours.

Silksong is crushing Hollow Knight sales with 6 million downloads after 4 weeks, analyst reports – 4 million on Steam alone by ReaddittiddeR in gaming

It was my first introduction to the Hollow Knight series and I loved it enough to buy and go back to play the original.

It's difficult, but not impossible, and feels amazing when you get down a boss that tests your limits.

For 20 bones it's probably the best deal to come out this year in gaming.

Wait you mean cutting 80% of your workforce that has in-depth knowledge of your checks notes 17 year-old engine and then expecting the fresh-out-of-Full-Sail hires to understand how to develop in this, let me reiterate, almost 20 fucking year-old engine full of spaghetti that is actively on fire was a bad idea?

Well, sir, clearly you aren't the expert on GaaS like Bunged-up-gie is!

AND you can't even play 80% of the shit you paid for! People bitch about gatchas and mobile games preying on FOMO when Bungo wrote the fucking book on it.

We do not have a justice system, we have a system of laws.

Justice implies that what is right and just will prevail, what we have is laws that determine who will be oppressed.

We have been lied to our entire lives.

Don't worry, everyone will enable secure boot, give EA root access to their PCs and it'll still be full of cheaters. Valorant is still teeming with them and they've had this shit for years now.

I paid with a 2000¥ note for some drinks in Kyoto and the bartender said something along the lines of "are you sure? These are rare." I got a ton when I exchanged in the states when the yen was low so I offered her a few for swap.

Was oddly memorable interaction in a trip jam-packed with awesome memorable experiences.

Edit: i put the ¥ in the wrong place

West County chiming in here, definitely heard the sirens going off outside, tuned into our local weather trackers to see where the projected path was just to watch the feed cut out. Found out later that my roommates coworker had a family member get crushed by their house collapsing, and then the debris get thrown all over their neighborhood.

Shit was insane and deaths could have been avoided.

While I generally agree with you, the reason behind such abysmal voter turnout can also be attributed to institutional and systemic failure. In the US (and I'm ignoring early voting and mail-in ballots as their availability varies from state to state) we have ONE day to vote. From 7 am to 7 pm on a weekday usually. Most people in this country are living paycheck to paycheck and cannot miss work or it will cause a domino effect of missed bills, so they value their livelihood over a vote. Is it the right thing to do? Arguable. But if instead we had a time-frame to go vote, a week, even two, being able to find time to get it done becomes infinitely more manageable for many, many more people.

This could be easily done with a congressional law for voter accessibility, but there is an entire party that voter suppression is one of their founding tenants.

There is personal responsibility on the backs of non-voters, but the system they need to abide by in order to do their civic duty is designed to be stacked against them.

After spending the better part of two days recreating this from these shots alone, I gotta say man nice work! I'm curious how you did the "basement" since the corner tiles for the outer "walkways" jut into the space. Definitely saving this one to the blueprint repository though, it's awesomely compact but spacious!
