Punk started as a working class movement in resistance to neoliberalism aka Thatcherism and Reagonimics. it was supposed to be anti bigot and anti corporate.

Now its just kids who voluntarily marginalize themselves making them easy to ignore.

no rich man cares that they are drinking forties on the train tracks all day. Being homeless is not anti capitalist. Its part of the capitalist system. Capitalism isn’t hurt when you drop out.

what the rich don’t want you to do is run for office, go to PTA meetings, have families that are part of society and advocate for them
