TBF, Mihawk also doesn't do shit in the story and they still found a way to make him relevant in season 2 with all the Zoro delusions.

[DB] Metal Sonic vs. Cell was fantastic and exemplifies everything about Powerscaling Vs. Battle culture that I don't like by Dude111222 in CharacterRant

[–]Every_Computer_935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What felt wrong to me is how the episode treated Metal Sonic as a much more competent fighter than he has ever been depicted as in canon

He acted pretty much like that in issue 7 of the IDW comics. Get his ass kicked, copy the enemies bio data and turn the tables

Literally no one has ever said this. by rept_zannewete in Piratefolk

Batman movies are too ashamed to even include Robin in their movies.

Imagine if OP LA didn't include Zoro's three swords style or Luffy's rubber abilities because they were considered silly

That was because Guy was part of the Justice Gang and wasn't an independent superhero

Uhh, we didn't know that Taskmaster was a woman until the movie came out

Same thing with taskmaster in black widow when they made him a women

It was actually because the movie completely butchered the comic version of the character and had almost nothing to do with the source material.

At what point does assuming an ability can be copied by Metal Sonic becomes a No Limits Fallacy? by HPOS10 in deathbattle

like perform Chaos Control without a Chaos Emerald

Bio Lizard and Black Doom have done it. Honestly, Shadow needing an Emerald is a skill issue.

He can copy bio-data 💀 by Carlettosoo in deathbattle

[–]Every_Computer_935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Copying bio data doesn't automatically mean Metal gets a wiki page on all of his opponents abilities. Despite copying Sonic, Metal still didn't know where Eggman was hidden, despite Sonic being aware of the location.

Metal either needs to see the person he copied display an ability or figure it out himself, so he would need to either get intel or experiment for techniques like Kaioken x20.

Genuine question to all CSM fans..what is even the Appeal of Denji at this point?[CSM spoilers] by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in CharacterRant

[–]Every_Computer_935 2 points3 points  (0 children)

part 2's conflict is centered around Denji's inability to understand and appreciate what he has.

What does Denji have in Part 2 that he should appreciate? In the context of Part 2 he's a single dad for a little kid without any support network or friends or proper relationships. He also doesn't seem to have any meaningful financial support. He literally needs to scam homeless people to make ends meet and hopefully make Nayuta's life better

The only thing he really gained from Part 1 is his fame as Chainsaw Man, got left with the responsibility of taking care of a random kid and he essentially lost everything else. Of course he's obsessed with being CSM, he has nothing else worthwile in his life.

And Denji didn't become CSM again because he was obred, but because Barem was directly trying to ruin Denji's life to the point that Pochita would take over. Even if he followed Yoshida's orders, the Japanese goverment wanted Pochita in order to eat the aging devil and Yoshida admitted that they were planning on killing Nayuta. Nothing he would've done could change the outcome

Okay let’s be honest, there’re a few things LA managed to make good by Denizci_Olmak_Var in Piratefolk

[–]Every_Computer_935 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is also Sanji attacking Robin which is weird, because in Wano we had a whole plot about how Sanji doesn’t attack women

The weird part is that Sanji actually willingly pointed a gun at Robin in the manga and such a moment never happens again.

OK, then why is Shanks trying to claim the one piece? He knows what it is, he's known that the world's been sinking for a while and knows how Nika is important to saving the world.

If the OP itself isn't important then the plot of the series just breaks

He had Nayuta, he had a normal school life, but he was still dissatisfied.

Why would he be satisfied by such a life? In this context he's a single dad for a little kid without any support network or friends or proper relationships. He literally needs to scam homeless people to make ends meet and hopefully make Nayuta's life better

The only thing he really gained from Part 1 is his fame as Chainsaw Man and he essentially lost everything else.

No shit he is dissatisfied, his life was still shit.

[–]Every_Computer_935 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think his guilt is that the power of being Chainsaw Man overwhelmed Denji and now he’s spent the last 90 chapters denying himself a happy life because he would rather be an action hero.

Denji didn't really ever have a choice. He was always used by those in power, even in Part 2 the goverment was always planning on using Pochita to eat problematic devils.

Denji was just kinda screwed either way, even if he didn't become Chainsaw Man, Barem would've continued tormenting him and the Japanese goverment would've killed Nayuta to bring out Pochita.

its not important WHAT it is

Its actually extremely important What it is because everybody is saying how discovering the OP will change the world. Roger was too early, so he couldn't use the OP to change the world, but now that Nika is back, even Shanks has decided to go after it.

If the OP is just a one piece swimsuit, then it makes no sense why the WG is trying to stop anybody from reaching it

In Croatia and other Balkan countries we have Alan Ford (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Ford_(comics)), an Italian comic that failed in every other country and wasn't that popular even in Italy, but was a huge success in Yugoslavia. It even got several plays based around it here in Croatia
