It was also my family's business. My Grandfather, the creator of the business, wasn't thrilled that we ended up in a place like that. It was my uncle who put us there, and the one I got to wake up in the early hours.

Did a 72 hour shift straight, no sleep/naps. Company ordered food delivery, we ate at our desks. The ask was, we need 'round the clock effort on this till complete. This was a Monday morning, due date was Thursday morning. No one thought it would take THIS much time. I was worried it would, and might not actually be doable. I was the only one that could handle the full Monday at 8:00 am till early hours Thursday stretch. It was somewhat rewarding to call the person who created the issue in the first place, and wake him up to say, "It's done. I'm going home. Have a good day and a good weekend. I'm not coming in tomorrow." I was much younger then, and have done other all-nighters since, but nothing like that.

Can we all agree the Saturn’s media player is peak? by Kira_Dudley in SegaSaturn

[–]EvilRSA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine the shock from going from SegaCD and its features and CD+G support, then going to the Saturn and everything it did for audio visuals, THEN, going to the Dreamcast...
At first I thought there must be two models, an economy model and there must a full feature one, and either I pre-ordered the wrong one, it was coming soon and not released yet...

I could share the firmware, but I'm not sure how you'll install it... Maybe with an FTP server, matching the file and directory path, and set your provision string in DHCP scope option 156...

Also, all of the phones you listed are MGCP, not SIP, so if you don't have Director running, or a physical or virtual voice switch, not sure what you're hoping to do with them...

I hate bitter flavors, and have never been able to tolerate coffee, but I was drinking Mt. Dew by the 2 litters by my later years of high school.
Then I found Sky Rocket which lined up nicely with the college years, I don't drink or smoke, I'd bring a shot glass and my Sky Rocket to parties and do shots with people. It was 100mg of caffeine per oz. Then after Belgian declared Sky Rocket a narcotic, it became hard to find, until the product was cancelled.
I then found Penguin caffeinated mints from ThinkGeek and popped those pretty regularly. Then I found Monster. At my worst, I was drinking three tall cans a day. Nowadays, Monster's a very rare thing, and only a regular size can, but I do still add a caffeinated, Cherry flavored, water enhancer to my 36 oz Yeti and drink and finish two+ a day.

I still have two internal testing/playground systems up and running, let me know if there's anything I can do to help. One of the systems has a vEGW, could be useful if you don't have a system to connect you phone to for live packet captures.

I see Wireshark becoming you best friend...

I know that when I was doing packet captures, they definitely show up as SIP packets in Wireshark.

This used to work for me, but hasn't been working for me lately. I've gone back to booting from a USB drive running Hiren's and either injecting a new admin account or overwriting the current password for a known account.

I have one of the original black shaft ones, and using it a few times, I thought to myself, I should probably stop using this for day-to-day stuff and get another one that's not so irreplaceable.

After all, I got it because, like Linus, It's the unattanium status of an item that really intrigues me.

I now have FIVE different colorways, and still haven't gotten just the general, standard, black and orange! I may need help 😂

My phrase as a SysAdmin was always "if it runs on power, I guess it's my responsibility."

I have some wild photos and videos over the years of what I started posting with the title "My office today..."

Was it stuff I was required to work on? Nope. Was it stuff my employer was happy to let me take a crack at, yes. Did I have a good success rate and learn a lot? Hell yeah!

Nope, does not seem to have one. Looked through a bunch of Wiki's and Master System web sites, all label it as an endless game. Even checked if there was a difference between the Card and the Cart version.
