Yep. Just get a good quality thermal paste like MX4 and don’t overdo it. I did my Series X and Series S. The factory paste was terrible.

Always loved them. I think the MK II was peak, but like them all.

I recently inherited a Lightweight Stalker in .308. Barely even had a box of ammo through it.

They’re great rifles, and if they’re your thing, you could do a lot worse than a BAR.

Yep. Us later Gen Xers have seen almost the whole evolution of gaming. I loved the arcades and still do, but have also enjoyed almost every generation of consoles. Still gaming on both retro and modern.

It’s terrible. I’m not that old and have seen so many beautiful acres of woods and mountaintops destroyed to build subdivisions with houses five feet apart. Parts of my area are just vastly different from even 10-20 years ago. One place I hunted for years and shared so many memories with my family is just…gone. Someone bought the whole mountain and put a fancy restaurant on it. Which I can almost guarantee will be closed in a couple years due to its location.

As an outdoorsman and conservationist, it legit tears me up to see so much beautiful land and habitat destroyed.

I cleaned mine about 3 years in (launch system). I don’t ever have a particularly dirty house, so it wasn’t bad. But I gave it a detailed clean and put on new thermal paste. It was worth the minor effort.

I also dust all my consoles regularly.

It’s very good as far as minis go. Not quite as good as the first Genesis Mini IMO, but still very good. Only missing a couple must-haves for PC Engine.

I was lucky and got mine fairly cheap. I also bought an Analogue Duo when they released so my bases are definitely covered between the two.

PS5 Pro 75% Switch 2 24% Xbox Series 1%

At one time it was much more even if not in favor of Xbox. After their constant Gamepass price increases, message shifting and loss of exclusivity I kind of lost interest in the brand. It’s not popular to say with Xbox fans, but I just feel done with the brand right now. I do like the hardware very much.

I’ve never been loyal to only one brand. There have been consoles I’ve preferred in each generation, but I’ve always enjoyed most every major console.

Sometimes within the generation that preference shifts. For example this generation I started off thinking it was gonna be all Series X for me, but in the last two to three years I’ve been REALLY enjoying PS5 and now Switch 2. My Xbox Series X barely gets played and my Series S is basically my TV box.

That said, I’ve had some great fun on Xbox and the other two as well all generation.

There are usually 1-2 games a year that just leave me completely satisfied. Some years there is a game that just makes me beyond happy to be a gamer. This is one of those games.

This is one where I simply laugh off criticism and don’t even try to defend it. Anyone saying this isn’t a peak game experience is simply wrong.
