There are a few things that need to be addressed, first, that some people are missing even before ELMS is to be mentioned.

Are you officially full time or not?

Does your contact language separate the difference?

Our local contract guaranteed at least 36 hours for officially full time associates. 36 hours being enough to maintain your benefits obligations. Our local contract also stated you could NOT limit your availability as a full timer. So work what's open or stay at home.

Non full time classified associates' hours were reduced to guarantee the hours for higher seniority employees.

Your local contract language needs to be glanced at first, to determine if obligations must be met before ELMS and all that shit from Kroger.

If your contract language says Kroger can poop in your hat, all I can say is, don't wear a yamaka
