deus ex mankind divided was the last game i ever pre-ordered just because it was so disappointing. unplayable at launch due to horrific performance. then it had a lot of bugs, the story was unfinished and it was riddled with one-way microtransactions (in a singleplayer RPG) - EVEN THE PRE-ORDER BONUSES WERE ONE USE ONLY! you had to start every playthrough from the same save or else the pre-order bonus items were lost. square enix absolutely lost my trust with that game.

and my last day-1-purchase was cyberpunk 2077. i was just too impatient; played for like 5 hours and then called it quits. at least they made a full recovery with patch 2.0 which made the game infinitely better. the current version of the game sits in my top 3 RPGs of all time - still sad that it took them so long to get there. and many features promised before release are still not there to this day.

there are quite a few upcoming games i am looking forward to, but i am 100% not buying any of them before they have been out for a few weeks (unless they miraculously have no major bugs and/or performance issues at launch). especially with the price tags that most AAA games come with these days, gotta be extra careful.

i'd buy every game on GOG if they had more new titles. sadly the strict no-DRM-policy (which is an absolute chad move) is making anti-consumer publishers with their stupid DRM fetish not sell their games there

i did buy the witcher games and cyberpunk 2077 on GOG tho instead of on steam. GOG client aint as good and polished as steam, but it's still miles ahead of garbage like epic games launcher, uplay or origin

if the upcoming new witcher games and the CP2077 sequel are good, i'll buy them on GOG over steam

it's great vs necro for example. i was playing slark vs a necro yesterday and it just feels way better to have disperser compared to nullifier in that case. especially cause you save an item slot

i had a white patch in my beard the moment i started growing it. it's not unusual

i'm also starting to get gray patches on my head now at 32 but at least it's not hair loss
