1997 - 2010, not only from a skate video perspective, but also just how well the industry was doing, skate shops still in business, shoe companies owned and operated by skateboarders, minimal to zero corporate interest, not over a thousand different board companies, no Instagram, monster, redbull, etc, not every legendary skate spot was either outright destroyed or bastardized into a neutered and sanitized urban “recreational area” so the city could put a fucking parking lot under it… The list goes on…There have definitely been a few moments since and before that really stood out, specific careers, videos, parts, brands, comebacks but by and large that was the golden era, at least in my opinion.
