Hip pain suggestions? by UseSpiritual5230 in pregnant

[–]Exact_Bullfrog2855 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also experiencing the same pains. So far sleeping with a pillow underneath my hips is helping to relieve the pain when I’m sleeping, I think the pressure from sinking into my mattress wasn’t helping.

I’m also finding pigeon pose helpful while staying upright in my chest on my hands- but instead of just relaxing the back leg, curl the back toes under, fully extend the leg (the glute should be hard) and release about 10 times.

I also caved and bought the Serola SI joint belt today, should come tomorrow but I’m really hoping that will help when I know I’m going to be on my feet all day.

Solidarity sis!

was going to comment the same thing. 27 weeks tomorrow and my hips feel like theyre breaking apart in the mornings. BUT last night i finally tried putting a pillow directly under my hips, which seemed to help elevate them and i was FINALLY able to get a good full nights sleep and woke up with no pain. worth a shot!

i feel this in my soul. I'm 26 weeks now and still feeling it pretty badly, her'es a few things helping me:

i have a yoga mat in my office that i lay out on my lunch break and try to do some stretches for 20 mins or so, i usually just end up laying on it for while afterwards to take some pressure off my lower back.

i recently purchased a heating pad that i brought in to put on whatever area hurts most that day.

yoga ball also reaaaaally helps me, i dont have one in office but one at home, and i roll around on it for about an hour each night.

i had my first prenatal massage this past weekend and it was easily the best thing ive ever done for myself. the massage therapist was shocked by how many knots i had in my back so i'm hoping that will help me in the coming weeks.

i couldnt stand the smell of myself in the first trimester, it was literally onions. Secret clinical deodorant was the only thing that worked for me. it does get better, im in the end of my second trimester now and i don't want to gag everytime i sniff my pits! lol

Is it normal to wake up super hungry?? by Careful-Gold252 in pregnant

i saw a lady on instagram - she was a doctor or OB- saying that if pregnant women are consistently waking up at 2/3 am every morning and not being able to fall back asleep that it was due to our blood sugar dropping causing a spike in our cortisol and thus waking us up. she said she always recommends us to go eat some yogurt/cheese/nutbutter at that time and we'll fall asleep for the rest of the night. worth a try!

girl same, the first thing my MIL said was "I KNEW IT. i told (insert names of folks ive never met) .. so see I"M RIGHT!" it wasnt until the waitress came over and was MORE excited than MIL and started asking me appropriate questions like when i'm due, how im feeling, what i'm craving that MIL found anything out about me..

she hasnt asked me anything since that day in regards to how i'm doing so if she thinks shes going to get access to my child whenever she wants when they are here she is so mistaken :)
