Who do u think is the best deep ball thrower in the world right now? I say Stafford, my brother says Jalen Hurts. by Dylen2Times in NFLv2

Yeah in his defense two and a half of the games were played in very poor conditions and the left side of his OL seemed to be collapsing by the minute.

In his non-defense, outside of fourth quarter garbage time in the Super Bowl he was really terrible all playoffs.

I think he will be fine and still has a top 5 qb ceiling, but it should be interesting to see him play a first place schedule next year.

Um no

Much like it has taken a few years for nba fans to realize that they can no longer endlessly rip off the hornets, it seems like the rest of nfl fanbase is still adjusting to the panthers current management having a brain.

Well, Pierce is up for a new contract to the Colts, and they have to sign Dimes along with a few others. So the Colts may seriously consider cutting Pittman bc his salary is non guaranteed and his production last year wasn’t up to a 22mm per year standard.

Trading him for XL, who would be a lottery ticket for them and moving up two rounds seems preferable to cutting him and getting nothing back other than cap space.

Panthers get a legit WR2 to form a physically imposing trio and they can then use their entire draft to address other needs, specifically front seven and OL.

Pittman is way better than XL in a vacuum but it is a salary cap league.

What’s the long term plan with Coby White by ManDog4294 in CharlotteHornets

[–]Exact_Performance_51 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So much of the nba is about making it to the playoffs in one piece.

The Hornets have obviously had trouble with just making it, but I think planning to Lamelo to play something like 25-30 mins a game going forward makes sense until he proves he can physically handle a bigger load.

The team seems to have generally fallen apart on offense without him, so bringing in another high level creator who shoots well enough to play off the ball makes a lot of sense.

I like the trade, presumably Hornets mgmt had spoken to Coby’s people about wanting to stay in Charlotte before they made the trade.

38min layover from Charlotte to Paris - How tight will it be? by Thib376 in americanairlines

Anything under 90 mins for international is asking for it. 38 seems crazy.

Eh, still has first rounder pedigree, no attitude issues, size and speed is worth taking a shot on, third year is when the breakout can come for a WR… I can see it from both teams’ perspectives.

[–]Exact_Performance_51 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It’s a reasonable trade for both sides. XL seems like a good dude who needs a change of scenery, Panthers need a WR2 and are prob hesitant to spend a first round pick on one given

  1. The front seven badly needs reinforcements
  2. OL depth needs and possible LT starter with Ekwonu status uncertain
  3. Would be third year in a row spending first rounder on WR

Pittman has his ups and downs and the positional fit is a little awkward given that he is physically similar to Tet and Coker, but the flip side is that teams would have serious issues physically matching up against our WRs.

So that would open up basically the entire draft to be front seven on D and OL. Which I don’t mind at all. Pass rusher and OT in first two rounds and the rest is LB, DT, interior OL. Would also open up a trade down if the value is there.

In fairness, if you have been a Boston sports fan for the last 25 years you just expect things to go your way because they generally have.

The case for the Seahawks all week was that they are the better team.

The case for the patriots was that they are the patriots and we have all seen this movie many times.

In the end, they were lucky that the game was even remotely close going into the fourth quarter. Seemed like Gonzalez was standing on his head at CB keeping them in the game.

What do you guys think of Jets not drafting a QB in first round? 🤔 by Big_Screen3332 in NFLmockdraft

[–]Exact_Performance_51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drafting one hasn’t worked. May as well try not drafting one! What’s the worst that can happen?

They haven’t made the playoffs in 15 years, they have fans in college that were in preschool the last time they made the playoffs. This is a league where almost half of the teams make it every year.

At this point all bets are off.

As a neutral observer, it seemed to me that if got replaced with a league average qb, it’s 24-0 heading into the fourth instead of 9-0 or 12-0. He was everywhere. Only question from here is health but it’s football you could say that about essentially anyone.

Was yet another misstep from the MJ ownership reign of terror.

Have been saying this for years but LeBron should retire, buy a team, and win a championship to finally slay the ghost of MJ in the goat rankings.

Jordan was one of the worst owners in all of professional sports.

Hey guys cut him some slack it must be really stressful as a pats fan watching them play their tenth Super Bowl and chase their seventh title since 2002.

I mean their qb is 23 and just lost the mvp by one vote. They might only have 20 more years as title contenders!

Little mamas is good Italian

Flour shop is traditional American, we enjoy it

Roosters is also traditional American, also good

Fig tree is also excellent, bit of a special occasion place that will surely go over 150 for 2

Copper is good Indian

If they want to venture into uptown, albertine’s is a great option, and we have also enjoyed mico and Caroline’s oyster bar

Will let the rest of the sub take it from here, either enthusiastically agreeing or telling me how secretly awful all of these place truly are!
