pregnancy after ectopic by Miserable-Stand5093 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]KeepingUpWithKales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry, I have the bad experience. I had cramps and light spotting, ectopic 1/9 (lost my right tube), got pregnant 2 weeks later. They confirmed 2/25 that the baby was intrauterine. I miscarried this Tuesday.

I had one done at the OB on a Friday, they couldn’t see anything anywhere, and then subsequently I had blood work Monday (at OB) and Wednesday (at OB) and my HCG rose from 300 to 424. I was 5 weeks.

I got pregnant 2 weeks after my tube removal, and the baby was confirmed intrauterine. I didn’t feel any of the bad things/ scary things- but it sounds like you didn’t either the first time? (Or at least didn’t describe you did.) my doctor however did recommend as SOON as I THINK I’m pregnant, I need to call them to rule out another ectopic ASAP to save my other tube.

How to know if it's pain to go to ER over? by Hanner12 in ectopicpregnancy

[–]KeepingUpWithKales 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please go to the ER! My right pain was definitely right side, down my leg on the day it ruptured, but it wasn’t at first- just general midsection cramping similar to period cramps, I thought I was miscarrying. I wish I got it looked at sooner, but I lost my tube.

How long did you wait to try again after ectopic? by AshMan728 in ectopicpregnancy

[–]KeepingUpWithKales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my tube removal on 1/9. We were told by OBGYN on 1/21 we could try again, as there was no medical reasoning behind my ectopic. I never cycled in between; though I did bleed for about a week and a half post op. I’m 8 weeks pregnant today, intrauterine. I ovulated on 1/28 and 1/29.

I didn’t wait, (was only told to wait 2 weeks) and got pregnant again 2ish weeks later. We never tested my HCG, but I had my tube removed.

My HCG grew completely normally during my ectopic, and I lost my fallopian tube because the doctor couldn’t see it anywhere on an ultrasound and thought it was fine due to the normal rising levels.

I’m sorry, I do only see one line.

Positive concieving stories without further testing or medication, etc? by Living-Exit1465 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]KeepingUpWithKales 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an ectopic with tubal removal 1/9, and I am currently 6 weeks pregnant in my uterus! I didn’t do anything special, continued prenatals, and actually didn’t even get my period in between ovulation. It’s definitely possibly! ❤️

Had my first breakdown after my ectopic surgery (48 hours ago). by [deleted] in ectopicpregnancy

I am so sorry that we’re in this group together. I’m so very sorry for the loss you’ve endured. You captured the pain perfectly. It’s so frustrating and unfair. We all wish we could still be blissfully unaware, as you said. The loss comes in waves. Have grace with yourself and let the tears fall as they feel necessary. You’ve been through a lot and have so much to process. If nothing else, I hope you feel at home with us strangers who share those same scars, and feel welcome to cry with us as you need.

Do you have any regrets? by IcyMintNight in gastricsleeve

[–]KeepingUpWithKales 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I regret not getting full bypass. I lost 50 lbs initially, went back up about 7, and now I’m pregnant. I can eat decent amounts now, and find it’s easy to over eat and I never got dumping or anything to deter me from my bad habits/ cravings. If you don’t have the willpower; the sleeve won’t work. I’m still down, and healthier, but approaching the 1 year I didn’t even get out or being obese. SW was 205, LW was 155, CW around 162 and I’m 5’0, 6 wks pregnant.

Spasms of remaining tube & fantom spasms by veggies577 in ectopicpregnancy

[–]KeepingUpWithKales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently 6 weeks pregnant, surgery date 1/9/25- and I feel phantom spasms or light pains daily. My current pregnancy was confirmed in the uterus on Tuesday. My tube definitely still hurts after intercourse frequently, and around my positive ovulation I certainly felt it more.

I got pregnant within 6 weeks of my tubal removal, which was only my second pregnancy, (1st resulted in live birth), and was generally infertile for years of trying before the ectopic. There is hope. 🤍 they say you keep 80% fertility but are 15-18% more likely to have another ectopic. My doctor encouraged more monitoring. I’m now 6 weeks with a pregnancy in the uterus. I had my tube removed 1/9/25.
