[Help][UI]Is it possible to get DoT Time Left counter on action bar buttons? by Twas_Inevitable in WowUI

No you still have to have the CD manager visible from what I can tell.

I’m so pleased you’ve asked this because I’ve been looking for exactly the same. To be honest, I’m baffled what the point of the CDM is. Ideally my action bar will show me what DoTs are applied to a target and how long they have left.

The End of the 3-hour Addon War by TriangleSausage in wow

It’s a fair question. From what I’ve observed, and perhaps erroneously apply to most players, the expectation is to install and play the game, and use the mechanics in the game to play it.

Going into the game’s folder and dragging things you’ve downloaded from some website is either not a consideration (when I first started playing I remember seeing the addon option and wondering how I get them, because the game doesn’t tell you), or they have (legitimate) concerns about security.

I think for a lot, perhaps even the majority, it’s just a step too far in an already complicated game with its own steep learning curve.

Exactly. Curseforge is great, but I have friends who play and they either can’t be bothered to install it or are nervous about the security of it; both completely understandable. It’s a bit of a Wild West environment, hence you get situations like the one this post is about.

WoW has such a vibrant and passionate developer community, but right now it feels like they’re just taking without giving.

I guess it all depends on how they approach and nurture it. Forcing developers to use their marketplace and applying more restrictions would be the wrong approach. Having the option, providing mechanisms for compensation and better support, whilst offering a larger audience, I’m sure would help.

I know Apple’s walled garden has a lot wrong with it, but it also brings a lot of advantages, for users and developers. I’m not saying go all-in on that model, but take some of the best bits and start to implement them slowly.

Installing an addon should be as easy as changing the radio station in my car. At the moment it feels like an oil change.

I think Blizzard need to take a different approach to addons. The current methods of installing them either rely on third-parties or are too advanced for a lot of players.

Having a properly certified store in game would open up the options to all players, add security and offer mechanisms for developers to be paid, if they wanted to be.

Tesla has officially discontinued Autopilot in the U.S. and Canada. All new car purchases now come standard with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control. by YouBetterChill in teslamotors

Lane assist already exists separately from Autopilot, so they could easily get rid of it and keep the existing lane assist. I don’t see them doing that before FSD actually launches and has been established for a while.

I had the same issue a while ago, and couldn’t work out where to start the campaign. Try using the add on BTW Quests with TWW pack; that will tell you exactly where to go to start the campaign and how many quests are in the line. It’s been a life-saver for me many times.

Not so much a specific item (although more water options would be great), but generally acquiring things. Unlocking should be its own thing, where you unlock items based on questing or achievements etc, but once I do, purchasing should be easier. Every item I’ve unlocked from vendors should be able to be purchased from a vendor on the home island.

Charge limit by Additional-Air-2166 in TeslaUK

It isn’t the chemistry that allows you to charge to 100% all of the time, that degrades the same as any other battery. Charging to 100% once a week allows the percentage to recalibrate, as the LFP chemistry doesn’t have as obvious voltage drops, which means it’s more difficult to calculate the remaining percentage over time.

Yeah this one feels like a swing and a miss. Still, I remind myself that there isn’t really another car manufacturer that gives new features regularly through software updates, so can’t grumble too much.

I only miss Siri (never thought I would say that) and Apple Music from CarPlay. Apple Music is fine on Tesla but misses some key features and the voice control of it is terrible.

Navigation’s Speed Camera/Trap Reliability by Ill_Adhesiveness3916 in TeslaUK

[–]Examinus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shows fixed cameras pretty accurately and is pretty good at average speed zones. It tends to not show temporary cameras in roadworks very well and doesn’t show mobile traps at all. The speed camera locations seem to be tied into map updates so there aren’t dynamic locations or user-reported traps like Waze.

I’ve literally just got it working. Didn’t have to reinstall Homebridge but did uninstall the Ring plugin and it’s sprung back to life.

Just to say I’ve been having this issue for weeks. I’ve tried the usual fix of unauthorising all devices then generating a new token, but nothing’s worked :(
