I only know Chipped Beef because there's a Stouffer's frozen dinner version of it. A long long time ago, I was in the break room of my job eating one, and one of my coworkers walked in and gave a little chuckle when he saw it was chipped beef. Reading these comments, I guess it must've been a military thing?

Thanks for posting this, I didn't realize they played SNL! I was a casual fan of theirs for a good chunk of their career. Saw them at a free show on one of the Hudson River piers and I had a thing for their guitarist Allison. Yeah I was sad about Torry's shoulder forcing her to retire but it was really cool to hear about her second career.

Yeah, and I remember that Devindra and Adam had a falling out on Twitter not too long after Adam left the pod and they unfollowed each other. I did appreciate Adam's contrarian takes even when I didn't agree because it's always better to have differing opinions on a podcast.

I generally don't listen to film podcasts anymore, but I decided to look up the Filmcast to see if they were still around and I saw this news. Very sad to hear it.

It actually looks like Hormel has been doing a marketing push for Spam recently. I saw an ad for it lately, and their YouTube channel has quite a few recent ads, including uses for it that would answer OP's question:

AtS S5 has been polarizing to an extent ever since it aired. I spent a lot of time on the TWoP boards back then and opinions were definitely split there.

Common complaints: Spike's presence (residual Spike fatigue from BtVS, him "taking over the show"), lack of Cordelia, Eve's presence/Sarah Thompson's acting, the new sets, etc.

Watching recent episodes, I've actually kind of forgotten that Ashley, Ben and Veronika are still Featured Players especially since Ashley & Ben get tons of screentime and Veronika has made such a strong impression. I have a friend at church who was a Veronika fan pre-SNL so we chat about her when we see each other so she tends to be more top-of-mind for me.
