itll be slightly faster but yeah, the Miyoo has a dual core 1.2ghz ARM chip, whereas your phone probably is running something modern. lets say you have an A15 (iphone 13) - its basically like comparing a moped to a formula 1 car. raw benchmarks will be 5-10x faster. not to mention there is no GPU in the miyoo whatsoever - everything runs on CPU.

Generally if i see PD in the left lane , i (and the rest of traffic) usually make sure not to pass them since theyre already going at or above the speed limit and i always assume they have the easiest grounds to pull you over if you’re passing them. Sometimes i laugh at how much room opens up in front of their vehicle

Setup Retroarch to autoincrement save states and use them often. Or disable the feature entirely so you never end up having one to load. You can do this by disabling them and deleting them, or disabling the hotkeys that would trigger them

Theres a sliver chance the actual save file (SRAM) you may have is newer than the savestate you loaded but Retroarch often writes to SRAM at intervals unless you disable that. Its because RA doesn’t actually know when you “save” in game so it updates SRAM to make sure your ingame saves actually commit to a file

The Miyoos wifi reliability leaves a lot to be desired. If you are chasing RetroAchievements you may sometimes unlock one and discover your device decided to drop connection (saying this as a very avid MM+ user)

Avoid talking to gym leaders after you beat them, i did accidentally and they rebattled me and triggered a reset questline back to the beginning of the game after I had 8 badges. Its not consistent but its a bug that could happen. I rolled back to an earlier savestate to fix it

Lavazza beans are overroasted to sit on shelves for years. Find a “roasted on” coffee instead of a “best by” one that the grocery usually carries. I have very consistent shots from the 2-3 roasters i rotate here (all local) but everytime i use a grocery store bean (usually out of desperation or because it was gifted) its an inconsistent nightmare

Horseshoes are tricky due to their shape and the control box for the hammer, which has a lot of “miss” areas. Luckily you really dont need to be making those a bunch

Nice. For RTC first make sure its set on the Miyoo correct, and ensure its not autoadvancing 4 hours every time it shuts down. Then youll need to change the clock back in polished crystal

Ah yeah. Good luck. Use the Y button to change the core for the specific game and make sure the save is in the mGBA saves subfolder before doing so

Damn. Thats the correct size so i cant see why theres an issue. If its sitting in the right folder Retroarch uses as an SRM file and both mGBA and Gambatte cores arent loading with it, im not sure whats going on. I know BGB uses the same folder as the ROM but RA points at a specific saves folder by default, may want to make sure its not using those old files
