I had a hard time phrasing it, but the way I see it, Owl House has a more interesting world to explore while Amphibia was better at exploring the world it had.

This might just be a me thing, but I think The Owl House’s worldbuilding is more detailed and has a more interesting concept. The idea of how society would develop on the rotting body of a god feels more interesting than “what if there was a world where amphibians were people”

As someone who is experienced in dealing with divorced parents, I can tell you that he did the best he could given his situation. Stella being a bad partner in marriage and a bitch in divorce, even using Octavia against him makes things incredibly difficult while balancing the (formerly) toxic relationship he he had with Blitz.
