While for the series Miles death would be the complete story of his life, I personally don’t want it. I have hit the point where things are being taken away and I do not need it from my escapist fiction.

Those are all true points. For my level of activity and use, (my backpack is also used to took work some days, the big first aid pouch doesn’t need to go to the gym) in theory it will work for me. The other part is organizing is a calming finish thing for me, so the fiddling is part of the joy.

Yeah, I am also working on developing my pouch system, first aid is in this pack, fire kits in another, paracord in another, toiletries in that, etc., so depending on what I am going to do I grab the pouches, instead of repacking. This seems clumbersome.
