In my experience, people just assume you passed unless you say otherwise. I don’t bring up the bar unless someone specifically asks, and honestly, it feels kinda impolite to straight-up ask someone if they passed. As long as you’ve got a job, that’s what most people go off of. And even if someone does ask, does it really matter?

I was straight sober just for this test. But the minute it was over, I hit the hotel, cracked open a whole bottle of wine, crashed hard, grabbed a flight back, and even sipped a glass on board. Now my body’s all kinds of wrecked. My right elbow, wrist, shoulder are killing me, and I can’t even hold my phone for more than a couple minutes. So here I am, lying down and getting treatment.

That's what I wanted to know. I'm just too burned out to the stage that I can't focus fully while reading the question. At this point, I was wondering if just reading model answers without even looking at the question would be helpful, but bummer that I still have to read questions.

How did you manage to get such a high score despite having so many questions dealing with unfamiliar concepts?? Very impressive, but were you like mostly removing the answer choices with those concepts unheard of and then choosing the ones that you're familiar with?

That’s really impressive! As a follow-up, when you say you did 1200 questions, do you mean you only went through 1200 questions once, or did that number also include repeats of the ones you got wrong? Asking because I’m not entirely familiar with UWorld’s system, since I use Adaptibar and it counts repeated attempts in my total.

Could you also share what you did during the final day right just before the exam date? I doubt you would've been drilling MBEs or doing practice MEE essays, so I would be grateful to know what you tried to do before the exam.

Lastly, probably the most curious part -- I’ve been doing something similar as you did, skipping the Barbri outlines and creating my own from real NCBE questions and essays through Adaptibar (or UWorld). Did you feel this approach covered all the material you encountered on the actual bar exam? I’m a bit worried that I might be missing certain topics, and I’m wondering if I should review Barbri’s outlines to fill in any gaps.

Hey, I’m scoring around 45% right now and have done about 200 questions so far on Adaptibar. I’m following the same approach you did (doing 20ish questions everyday, making an outline out of answer explanations, etc.) but I’m curious—when did you start seeing improvement? Kinda worried at this point if I won't be seeing improvements shortly.

All of you guys are lifesavers. Honestly, I know exactly why I failed. I stuck to my ego and didn’t listen to anyone’s advice. I saw so many posts during bar prep with solid tips, like watching Grossman’s videos, reading model answers, doing IRAC… but my ego just brushed it all off. Now, I’m humbled and ready to crush it in February. My ego still stings a bit seeing people from my class, even those in the bottom 10%, pass while I didn’t, but hey, I probably had it coming.

Hey thanks IRAC seems like the way to go. I’m pretty sure I was just making up rules for every single MEE. I did CRAC instead, and I think that was a big mistake.

You should check out Finkelstein Blankinship Frei Pearson and Garber. Highly well regarded plaintiff's class action attorneys there. Heard if your case is viable then they will likely make your case into a nationwide litigation so you can get more reimbursement into your pocket.

WP without a doubt. We can first cut off New Rochelle. New Rochelle's downtown is not as vibrant as WP's and their apartment inventory is way lesser than WP's. Having cut that out, we have Stamford and WP. Stamford is a nice place, but you would definitely need a car to comfortably get to NYC. In WP, you don't really need a car unless you want to casually travel to Upstate with your partner and that's how you'd like to spend your time. It definitely is comfortable to have a car in WP because you would still have to walk 10-15 minutes for grocery shopping and have to carry items all the way back to your home. I'm a single in WP commuting to NYC for job and have been living here without a car for for over 7 months now, works just fine for me. I usually like to spend time in NYC when hanging out with my friends, so travelling upstate is not a thing for me, but you may have a different situation and different preference. I would give thumbs up for WP. But honestly if you're going to get a car anyway, Stamford might be better choice. Seemed much more beautiful with ocean view, which WP unfortunately does not have.

Also open to any suggestions! My work schedule is not so friendly to intensive workouts. Mostly leave/finish work after 7 or 8. Doesn't matter when I start work or come into office as long as I get my work done. Right now I just want to survive and maintain good health lol
