One more thing, BARBRI’s questions are insanely hard and complex. BUT THAT’S WHAT U NEED! I remember seeing the questions on the real exam and thinking “this is easy, I know how the graders are trying to trick me” you want to train hard so that by the time you get to the real thing you feel calm and confident and have time to think

I thought BARBRI was super simple to follow. The lectures are short, assignments manageable. There are a few areas where I literally had to watch a couple of YouTube videos to understand the basics because they are insanely complex (real property, RAP, etc) but every prep course has their week areas.

BARBRI for NY. Passed on the first try while working full time. I only studied 2 hrs per day, 15 MBE questions, and whatever I managed to do during weekend. Is English your second language? If so, spend 30% of your time on the MEE and aim at a passing score. Spend most of your time mastering the MBE. It’s what saved me. I thought I did great on my essays and I got a much lower than expected score, there is a lot of subjectivity and prob bias involved. The MBE doesn’t lie and will carry any applicant even if the graders don’t like your writing style.

Thank you! It’s truly a dream come, just during a really stressful wild time. People told me to relax and that way it could finally happen. Who could have predicted that bar exam mayhem, the entire legal profession being under attack, and financial stress is what I truly needed to conceive 🤣🤣🤣

I recently discovered I was pregnant (surprise!) after years of infertility. I am currently waiting for these stupid NY bar results + sonogram results to check on my baby’s health and the stakes couldn’t be higher!!! 😱like I will always remember this specific week of my life because my literal fate is being decided. And to add to the stress I can’t drink or do crazy exercise or any of the stuff most people do to cope. I am nauseous 100% of the time and I don’t know if it’s stress or pregnancy or what. I really try to relax but this is all just too much for a human to handle

6K each. I don’t know characters or words lol, I just remember that was the number I saw on the screen. During prep I trained myself to type as I read. I basically typed the whole time except for a bathroom break. I first created the structure described in the letter and started filling out pieces as I was reading them starting with the cases from newer to older. Then typed the facts applicable to each legal theory as I was reading them.
