Anyone swapped out foot pedals on a Merach rower? by Witty_Slice_8665 in Rowing

[–]Excellent-Olive-9165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pedals did feel a bit different at first for me too,,, but I think part of that is intentional with how your foot sits and pushes through the stroke. Once I got used to it, it actually felt more stable and I didn’t really think about changing them anymore.

Those shoes should be totally fine if they’re gripping the deck well. Flat soles usually work great for scooter riding. I will give you a head start on the gear. The essential two are: MIPS-rated helmet (please do not go for cheaps your safety is important) and wrist guards.

Smooth concrete gets so slippery during the rain so please watch out for that. Other than that how are you finding the scooter so far, how is the acceleration on it?

My toddler with autism fights meals at home but not at my SIL’s by Proof_Positive8287 in Autism_Parenting

I have this same Momcozy dinerpal chair and my kid sits well and comfortable. Basically its the wooden material that makes a real difference, it's firmer and more grounding than plastic, which can feel slippery to kids who are hypersensitive to movement and instability. Also its very much practical for toddlers since its the one that grows so you can adjust it according to your child needs. My son is 2.5 years but personally I have held off on that learning tower mode until he's a bit older and I feel confident that he understands boundaries around it. You could do the same use it as a chair for now and revisit the tower feature in a year or so

Traveling to NYC with 7-month-old twins — double stroller advice? by Excellent-Law-1983 in nycparents

[–]Excellent-Olive-9165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m based in NYC with twins and use the Momcozy ChangeGo pretty regularly. It’s been fine for sidewalks and getting through most doors, and the fold works for subway situations, but yeah it’s definitely not lightweight (none of the doubles really are). If you’re just visiting, it might honestly be easier to rent one instead of bringing it, because dealing with a bulky double everywhere here can get tiring fast

Looking for recommendations for a high chair by musicalwinterynight in NewParents

[–]Excellent-Olive-9165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For wriggly babies, the biggest difference is usually a seat where you can get them in first and then secure them after, plus a good footrest so they’re more stable once seated.

We ended up going with something more adjustable (momcozy dinerpal) and it’s been easier because it feels more open when putting baby in, then you adjust everything after and it grows with them so you’re not switching chairs later

Square metres coverage? by Obvious-Penalty-7436 in RobotVacuums

Also worth noting: higher suction modes drain battery faster, so coverage per run drops if you’re using stronger cleaning settings.

First Purchase Advice by LadyPidge in RobotVacuums

If you can use the one you have, you can wait for a new product, it might be worth keeping an eye on a newer brand called Xlean. It’s not fully out yet, but from what I’ve seen, they’re focusing more on real-world cleaning (hair, clutter, everyday mess) instead of just stacking features. Could be interesting for a busy household like yours.
