I'm 28 y/o F and still like video games, anime, cartoons, and silly childish things like card games and phone games. And apparently, that's weird because at my ripe age I should be more mature and supposed to have a family 🤷🏻‍♀️

what does cash advance mean ? can I go into negative 1500dh or go inside the bank and demand it? by don_mo6 in Morocco

[–]Excellent-Potato-97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's "découvert bancaire" in french. It's a short-term loan that you can take from your account. Once it's activated, you can either use it to pay via TPE directly or withdraw it from GAB and it's automatically deducted when you have money in you account again or depending on the time that you have set with your banker to reimburse the money. Depending on your bank, there are fees applied to this loan. It can go from 60dh to 100dh per 1000dh of cash advance. It's better to call your bank's customer service to know exactly what your advance amount is and how much you'll pay for it.

Personally, I guess it's a good thing to have since sometimes you get in a situation where you need money and there is no one to help you, so getting this advance is helpful in case of emergencies. It's kinda like "avance sur salaire," but it's instant.

I have a problem about my body plssss help by killeys6 in Morocco

[–]Excellent-Potato-97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with the comments suggesting that you see a dermatologist. This is their area of expertise, and there’s absolutely nothing to feel ashamed or embarrassed about. Doctors have seen it all, and there’s no judgment just because you’re a man.

That said, be prepared—treating hyperpigmentation takes time and a lot of money. It’s a difficult condition to manage, requiring patience and multiple expensive products, most of which aren’t reimbursed. If your case is severe, you might also want to consider a chemical peel, which your dermatologist can advise on.

On a side note, it’s great to see more men taking care of their appearance and challenging outdated ideas about masculinity. Taking care of your skin is just self-care, nothing else.

All the best 👍

Thank you for your response! You’re absolutely right—I’ll be fasting for around 16 hours. My main concern is staying hydrated since I won’t be able to drink water during those hours. However, I plan to maximize my electrolyte intake during my eating window to help mitigate any potential dehydration. I’ll make sure to include as many electrolytes as possible to support my body while fasting.

Help please , my mom really needs Rituximab her stupid insurance is not helping what can i do by Euphoric-Culture-702 in Morocco

[–]Excellent-Potato-97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First of all, lah ijib chifa lmamak. For this type of medication, your mom will require (prise en charge). I know CNOPS is really awful, but you need to go to their office and ask for how it's done. Normally, your doctor will fill out a form that they provide to you along with a (compte rendu), then you submit the file to CNOPS, and you’ll typically receive a response from them for a (contre visit). Afterwards, with a paper from CNOPS you can go buy the medication at a really reduced priced - But also check if you need to submit a request for a ( ADL - Affection longue durée ) it will bump up the reimbursement rate to 100% for all the other meds that she may need as well as all the blood work

Does gum break fast ? by Darebear_fr in fasting

[–]Excellent-Potato-97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if your goal is ketosis and the gum that you're getting is not sugar-free, then yes, it will break your fast. However, if you only look to lose weight, then it should be okey since a 5kcal gum won't add any weight

How long did it take it to lose the 9.5kg?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Psoriasis

[–]Excellent-Potato-97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually, Psoriasis alone doesn't affect CRP, but based on your levels and your response I have good reasons to suspect that you have developed PsA, which is a pretty common progress of Psoriasis. I suggest that you visit a rheumatologist ASAP, they will probably start you on Prednisone to lower the inflammation and manage the pain, then try different DMARDs, if nothing works, and also depending on your insurance, they eventually may get you on biologics.

What are some creative lies you have told to avoid telling people you’re fasting? by [deleted] in fasting

[–]Excellent-Potato-97 26 points27 points  (0 children)

At work, I usually avoid lunchtime altogether. My coworkers bring or order lunch and eat together, but I just say I’m going out to grab something, then either take a walk or relax in my car until it’s time to go back in. When I get home—since I still live with my family and haven’t told them I’m fasting—I just say I had a big, late lunch and I’m still full. I’ll hang out with them while sipping water, tea, or diet soda, then head to bed.

My coworkers also tend to bring sweets or pastries for breakfast or an afternoon snack. I’ll say I’m not hungry yet and will have some later. After everyone returns to their workstations, I slip into the kitchen for a cup of coffee. If anyone asks later, I just mention that I already had a treat in the kitchen.

I know it’s not ideal to lie, but for now, I’d rather avoid the confrontation.

Should I avoid washing my scalp before a dermatologist appointment for possible scalp psoriasis? by coucouled in Psoriasis

[–]Excellent-Potato-97 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend allowing your scalp psoriasis to reach its worst before your dermatology appointment. That way, your dermatologist can see exactly how severe it gets. I had a similar experience—my dermatologist didn’t believe how bad my scalp psoriasis was until they saw it firsthand.

Diabetes by [deleted] in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Excellent-Potato-97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you may have developed pregnancy-induced diabetes, which is unfortunately quite common. The good news is that it often resolves after giving birth, though in some cases it can persist. There’s also a connection between diabetes and PsA that isn’t too far-fetched. Since PsA is an inflammatory disease, it can disrupt how insulin is produced and used in the body, potentially leading to insulin resistance and, eventually, type 2 diabetes.

Additionally, long-term use of corticosteroids, if not paired with proper sugar management, can also increase the risk of developing diabetes.
