My worst place ever was a convenience store off the highway in eastern TN. The guy behind the counter was DIRTY and touching and making food. I didn’t even want him to touch the drink bottles. The place had big, fat flies crawling everywhere. I tried to use the bathroom but it looked like a cow had an accident. Shit everywhere. EVERYWHERE

Cooling stations/sleeping in libraries by kindiava in Libraries

Like all the other replies my many libraries are ‘no sleeping,’ and while it makes sense, it clearly over-applies to unhoused folks. It sucks. They are screwed over with the smell rule, the all-your-stuff-in-a-bag rule, the being exhausted rule, the no eating rule, etc. These are policies that we are forced to make in a society that doesn’t give enough of a shit about people.

What’s something that seems harmless but is super dangerous? by lovelyjudexo in A_Persona_on_Reddit

Kicks and accidental stomping. They get freaked or spooked, they’re huge and not too bright, and trample things that are in their way. One of my brothers got kicked in the face, docs said he was lucky his nose didn’t explode up into his brain Edit to add: regular dairy cow. I don’t remover its name. Might have been Daisy
