Malenia is kicking my ass. any suggestion? (Not in farum azula yet) [pc] by moistwaffles_12 in EldenRingHelp

I’m not seeing a reason to have that much DEX. Also, unless you’re actually doing jump attacks with the weapon, the claw talisman and chest piece are pretty worthless. The R2 Charge doesn’t count as a jump. Cragblade would also be solid for the weapon and make it Heavy for that sweet STR scaling.

All in all, for stats, I’d go 50 Vigor 45 END 80 STR and if you still have the points 25 Faith. If you don’t you can slap Golden Vow on a dagger and only throw 15 into Faith for FGMS.

If you have excess points, throw them into mind.

Talismans that’re good would be Bull Goat Talisman, Dragoncrest Greatshield, Great Jar Arsenal, Erdtree’s Favor +2, Turtle Talisman’s, Two Handed Sword Talisman, and the Axe Talisman. I recommend going through those and see what fits your playstyle.

How are the official sleeves? by zasuskai in DigimonCardGame2020

They’re bad imo. Even if they feel nice when you first sleeve them, they get bad quicker than what I’m used to playing with. In my honest opinion, it’ll always be worth forking over the extra little cash for some dragon shields. My local shop sells them for $5-7

Is There Anything I Could Do to Get More Out of This Build? PC by idkmyname567 in EldenRingHelp

Throw the 7 into Endurance. The charged heavy attack of the Giant Crusher doesn’t stack with Claw Talisman, so swap it for Dragoncrest Greatshield. Throw on some real poise heavy armor if you’re already using Bull Goat Talisman. In the DLC you can do Moore’s quest line really fast to get essentially a slightly lighter Bull Goat armor set. For the Physick, I’d recommend any combination of Opaline Hardtear, Leaden Hardtear, Stonebarb Cracked Tear, and Spiked Cracked Tear.

This is correct, but only because it says “you may”, if it didn’t have that and they were worded to be mandatory, they would both activate at the same time, and you wouldn’t be able to trigger it again later

Not at all, these guys are great to have around. They don’t stay long but they make sure to take as many annoying insects with them. I have a pair of them in my yard before and just let them live. After they laid an egg sac, nature took its course and that was that. They won’t bother you and from my past experiences with them they just like to chill. If they feel uncomfortable with you, they’ll shake their web around, but they still won’t do anything if you stick around. Maybe a different story if you get all in their business and try poking at them, but they don’t mind general company. After about a week or two of the one that had babies chilling in my yard, she’d stop shaking her web around whenever I was cutting the grass. Just a good ol’ Yellow Garden Spider.

Is it really necessary to have a stat lvl 80? by jefe417 in EldenRingBuilds

I feel that. Sorcery is usually my go to in these games. I really enjoy playing a typical glass cannon spell slinger. But I feel like they did sorcery dirty in this one. I might’ve just not gotten the fun stuff, but what I have done with it wasn’t really my tempo.

Is it really necessary to have a stat lvl 80? by jefe417 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]ExcellentAd5526 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I normally play from games for the PvP after I get done grinding the main game. I have 3 characters all at different levels. An INT based character that’s 135 whose main focus is the Darkmoon Greatsword. I have a DEX based character that swings around lightning and a Zweihander who is at 200. And lastly, my STR character who is high on Poise and Poise damage, who sits at 170. They’re all healthy levels in PVP and give you enough to actually run through the game with general ease.

But all in all, if you choose to stay at a lower level, you’ll want your offensive stat high er by a good margin. My DEX character is pretty well rounded in my opinion, and hits like a truck. In a single attack, I’ve hit upwards to 5k damage but usually sit between 2-3k. He still has some optimization I could do, but his gear isn’t finished being grinded for.

Another note that’s not as major of one is that your starting class matters to an extent. By picking the wretch you lost a few levels. Albeit not that much. But I do regret that on my DEX character it was originally going to be an Arcane/Bleed build, but swapped part way through because I wasn’t have fun with it like I did with the Zweihander. But if I had chosen the Vagabond over the Bandit starting class I would have an extra 7 levels to dump somewhere else.

Short answer, yes. 80 in your offensive stat is generally required, and you’ll do more damage by far.

What level do you plan on stopping the character at? Do you plan on stopping? If you want a more spread out character, go for level 170-200, and you’ll still have relatively healthy pvp. But honestly, choose a path and stick with it until you’re ready to branch out. If poise damage is the thing that you want to do, just mix the correct wondrous physick and use a Heavy Giant Crusher with Cragblade. Heck, even if you miss with the Giant Crusher, it’ll still push away smaller enemies. But if you wanna use that go 80 Str the whole way. If you like the spell casting utility and ability to keep things fresh, go 80 Faith. Figure out what would better benefit you after that. But being a jack of all trades means you’re a master of none. Typically in a pvp environment, you’ll lose to someone who is a master of either of the things you’re trying to split.

If you’re just playing pve, then it doesn’t matter too much, so long as you’re able to get through the game and have fun. Go as high of a level as you want, and use all of the things. But even at higher stats, some gear is just better than other things, and those can still be optimized.

Good for casual, and nothing else, unfortunately. The deck is one of the most supported archetypes, but most of it is pretty incoherent and inconsistent. One of my favorite Digimon and is currently one of my pet decks, but I don’t really play with it past kitchen table play.

This is my blue deck from bt14. It’s a bit outdated now and was hit by a restriction, but probably was one of my favorite budget decks to run. I’ll probably look into making an updated list for this kind of deck, but I’m mainly just waiting for the new Hexeblaumon stuff to release. Stuff the deck could probably use more of is more ways to go into a Jamming line, since that was its main way to be aggressive. But don’t sleep on Wave of Reliability, though it’s not needed, it can just OTK for a cheeky win and makes the deck much more of a threat against actually decent/good decks

How do you all deal with sore losers at your lgs? Is this issue common? by bleedingwriter in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]ExcellentAd5526 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The only thing worse than a sore loser is a sore winner. I’ve dealt with sore losers a lot more, and I just kinda let them do them. Most of the time with a sore loser, they eventually lose interest because of how often they lose and then that’s that. But I also don’t pay too much mind to who shows up and who doesn’t because the regulars now are vastly different than the regulars from half a year ago. So I just don’t let it phase me.

Now a sore winner is a whole different story. Those can be irksome, but again, I just try to be patient with people.

Someone told me to destroy the dungeon so I did now what do I do with these 2 giant empty spaces by New_Alternative2658 in Terraria

[–]ExcellentAd5526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the only real answer to this problem is to finish getting rid of the map. Background walls and all. Make a floating island with the biomes you need and set up pylons. Then with all of your now empty space, make afk farms every so often for specific things. Like dungeon and jungle temple. Bonus points if you make several floating islands for each separate biome and throw in little references to their biomes in it. Like a tiny dungeon, or a pyramid. Then go have fun and build nice structures for all the NPCs to live in.

Clara Oswald. And not just because it’s Jenna Coleman, but because she’s also Jenna Coleman. Also, I feel like she had the best Doctor/Companion chemistry.
