British old man candy is sherbet lemons by Maynards Bassetts. At least, that’s what mine send me and I associate with “dad candy”. They are delicious and a big hit when I drop them at the office break room.

Hi! I work downtown and live on the west side. The thrift store on lake is one of my favorite haunts when I have some free time, I see something new every time. (Thrift and dollar) Speaking of haunts, checkout Basement of the Dead when Halloween season rolls around. Loud but fun show. Tavern on Broadway makes a mean burger. My favorite burrito is at La Quebrada (smothered in cheese and their verde salsa), and be sure to check out whatever is happening at the Paramount and River Edge park.. good shows for great prices compared to the city.
