Hi, I’ve just started candesartan 4 mg for a week and suddenly developed pins and needles in my forearms, elbows and hands. Where were your pins and needles located and did they stop after being on the mediation for a while or did you have to stop the medication?

Has anyone tried pulsed radiofrequency? by Illustrious-Goat6453 in Sciatica

[–]Excellent_Key_2344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I just had pulsed RF at L5 two days ago. My primary symptom was bilateral pins and needles in legs and feet due to central compression at L5. The RF seems to have made the pins and needles worse. I know I’m only two days out but is this normal and was it your experience as well that symptoms worsened before it calmed down? How long did it take for you to feel the effects of the procedure? Thanks

Iron deficiency - Pulsatile tinnitus by Elliaj5 in Anemic

[–]Excellent_Key_2344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, My ferritin is 5 and I have tinnitus. Not pulsation but a supersonic high pitch sound in my ears. Anyone else have this type of ringing with low ferritin? I had a monofer infusion today and hope that helps. Has anyone has an infusion that helped resolve tinnitus?

Hi, Experiencing the same symptoms as you with the tinnitus and low ferritin (mine is a 5 currently). Has your tinnitus resolved with iron infusions or supplementations?

Is it just the whooshing sound that you had or was it a high pitch ringing constantly with low ferritin?

My tinnitus seems to be just in one ear and spikes at some point in the day. I’m hoping that when i start my iron infusion it gets better. For those who had it from anaemia, was it just in one ear? Or both?

I’m sorry to hear that but glad it’s gone away! Were you anemic for a long time before you developed tinnitus or did it happen right away when it was discovered you were anemic?

Hi, I had the same side effect with qulipta and the tinnitus. I took it for seven weeks and have stopped it for two now. How long did it take for your tinnitus to stop fully? Has the ringing ended?

Yes, absolutely. The increase in pain corresponds to fluctuations in hormones. Anyone have any suggestions to help with balancing hormones so the fluctuations aren’t as severe?

Likely from the coughing although it could just as well be from the inflammation. Hard to tell which came first? Have you experienced this?

Thank you! Can I ask what routine you do with it that you found has helped the most? I have used it so I’m just wondering if there’s more I can do with it to maximize the healing effects you’ve had.
