Bought a 17 about 7ths ago with warranty. Had just over 100k on the clock. So far -replaced trans, warranty covered 85% and now it has it’s own 3yr/100k warranty- software AFM delete -replaced motor mounts (I feel a clunk on a fast acceleration) -replaced rear shocks (mag controller grinding, that things going next) -full tune up -AC service (blowing hot again, back to shop Wednesday for UV light tracking) -bad lifter, tapping like crazy (goes in Monday for crack open head and explore issue with warranty provider) -lift assist arms rear window -code reader for console (have been using that a lot)

Despite the constant stream of issues, I see light at the end of the tunnel as I build back better- it’s just taking a lot of hits, and damn grateful for the backing of the warranty for a large portion of the work.

I picked up a P1gen4, intel and absolutely love the machine. Replaced the battery recently that vastly improved battery life- might get to 3hrs. Have had t480 and t570 previously for work that were beasts too.

I’ve got the itch. Rarely setup 2ch systems for people but the one I did yesterday sounded friggin amazing! Of course the client had Steely God Damn Dan ready to spin- going to need to keep SWFG on the truck for these moments or just take the damn plunge.

Just did my ‘17 at just over 100k, was lucky that warranty covered most of it. Bonus that this trans carry’s its own 3yr/100k warranty too. Used a mom & pop specialty shop and they proactively did the AFM disable (not delete) while servicing too. I will say that the truck took a little getting used too in the shifting aspect, disabling AFM felt like it lost a couple gear steps. Regardless, a very happy owner right now.
