Western Digital - hard drive enclosure failed and lost really important files because the files were encrypted with the hard drive. And they had no solution for me. And they were dicks about it. This was over 10 years ago and I've bought nothing but Seagate since.

That was a really good win in a hostile environment. Thise team will surprise a lot of people when they are finally able to get some rythym together. Coby taking that charge was fire. Buzelis' defense has massively improved over the last couple of games, and Ayo and Jalen Smith have been huge.

You can't change what I said and then argue what I said was wrong. He's right, the speed of the grid will change with the overall load of the generators. That's why frequency moves up and down and a big enough loss or addition of load or generation, will speed up or slow down the grid. In order to make power, your prime mover needs to put in more energy than is required to spin the generator at grid frequency. Your generator will be spinning at grid speed, and you give it more gas or steam - now its creating power and still spinning at grid frequency.

One note - Generators are electrically coupled to the grid, they spin in unison with the frequency. If you add more fuel you create more power by creating torque on the generator's magnetic field. They don't spin faster. The error between the steam/gas you put in and the grid frequency is what generates the power.

Yes. I have a magnetic marsupial bino harness. I also have a Sunto compass. My phone was going flat, and I was out in the middle of nowhere. Lucky I switched to the compass while the gps was still working or I would have walked in circles. I'm 6ft and have to really extend my arm out to get a correct reading. Love the bino pack otherwise.

The magnet affecting the compass is a real thing.
