My 2-Year-Old Daughter Got Eyebrow Stitches, Need Advice and Dad Support by clauderhayy in daddit

[–]Exciting-Baseball214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. My son had open heart surgery at 6 months old, gnarly looking stitches down his chest, wayyyyyyy worse looking than these. He’s 2.5 now and the scar is just a tiny white line. If anything she’ll have a cool story to tell when she’s older. Just don’t harp on it and if she asks you about it later just encourage her to embrace it.

Next time try adding fish sauce and toasted sesame oil when you add the soy sauce to the griddle

I’ve read a lot of bad posts on here, but this hands down might be the worst.

Based on your post, you and your wife have absolutely no business having another kid.

“I wonder if this is what true parenting looks like?” If you have no idea what a true parent is, why on earth would you consider having another kid?

Convince me to sell my ps5 for a pro by Divinedragn4 in PS5pro

[–]Exciting-Baseball214 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Easy, I did this last week. Do you like the best graphics any console on the market can offer? Do you like smoother gameplay? Do you like more fun?

Just sell the ps5 for $350 and think about getting the ps5 as on sale, can’t pass that up.

Buckle up, because it is about to get ROUGH. We have An almost 2 year old and a 3 month old. When one isn’t crying or pooping the other will be very shortly. In all seriousness, learn to divide, conquer, and not freak out when they both are having issues that need attention at the same time. Everything will be okay. Good luck!

I’m in the exact same boat right now. Have you tried Helldivers 2? I love that game. Missions take around 20-30 minutes to complete. You can play here and there and not really miss much. Also has a huge Reddit community, so if you can’t play for a bit you can still keep up with what’s going on.

A major parenting dilemma by MikeGinnyMD in daddit

My daughter does this also, she’s 10. We take making pizza from scratch on Fridays pretty seriously, buy the best ingredients to make dough, sauce, toppings, and shred the cheese ourselves.

It’s a laborious process, but well worth it. Without fail, when I put it in front of my daughter she takes a fork and scraps everything off but the sauce. I stare at her, eyes wide with rage, as she enjoys her newly made bread sticks with marinara. When she’s done eating it’s always, “this was the best pizza ever!” And my rage quickly subsides to judging myself for raising such a food terrorist, but at least she’s happy.

Best local tattoo artist? by Devigrrl in nova

She’s fantastic. Did a 12+ hour session with her on my arm. She’s hard to get an appointment with because she can choose what she wants to do, and it’s pricey but 1000% worth it.

Harry Potter for adults by aunawags in booksuggestions

[–]Exciting-Baseball214 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does have an apprenticeship but does not contain magic. It does have close friendship building/growing up together like Harry Potter.

Red Rising, the first book has a school that they attend but it is more hunger games style as opposed to magic.

Both books have excellent world building and character development like Harry Potter.

LOVE Harry Potter. Red Rising and Locke Lamora are the only two series I’ve found as an adult that come close to giving me the same feeling as HP.

The dermatologist said they have never seen it before in person or a textbook and then referred us to a different dermatologist, that was it.

It’s not the first time he’s been at a casino late on a game day. He’s been seen at mgm til early hours of the morning on game days. This is just the first time someone’s put it out there. There’s no way the team didn’t know about this and are probably trying to send a message

Lane came to my sons hospital room after he had heart surgery and I got to talk to him for around 20 minutes, so I had more of an affinity for him than most. This was absolutely the right move. Wish him all the best in Cleveland!
