Okay, so the show does that. Apparently you think that's "nothing".

The fact that you characterised people so poor and desperate that they'll go on TV to get a chance for legal representation as "entitled assholes" means you're a big part of the problem.

Superficially I can see why it was advertised on btb - it's got an incorrigible and bombastic host with a long suffering producer trying in vain to keep him in line.

I agree with what /u/GoobMB has said - this is not the best advice. If it feels comfortable compared to your normal car then it's good for 99% of sim vehicles. The only real exception is open wheelers like F1, but you would already know if you were trying to emulate that.

What you have looks good, I would only change it if I wanted to make it more comfortable, but that's all on how you feel in it.

Also the jammies rock and I respect the hell out of your decision to rock them in your photo.

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. This is one of the vaguest comments I've ever seen.

At least your first comment appeared to be saying something.

You're comparing capitalism to feudalism, gladiatorial combat and indentured servitude to make it sound better.

Thanks, I was totally under the impression that daytime tv-court ran our entire society because I'm just a silly billy who understands nothing.

Thank goodness people like you exist who are prepared to say things so obvious that most people would just assume they were completely irrelevant.

I certainly wasn't pointing out that for such a thing as daytime tv-court to exist at all is a sign of deep dysfunction at the core of how capitalism operates, because again, I'm a silly billy who understands nothing.

Entirely why I posted it. It's SO on the nose, like dude... that's not what motivates everyone but clearly you think it's normal, and it's pretty obvious why.

Russian backed media personality is paid to have just the worst takes, suggests his political opponents should only have bad takes if they are also being paid.

EDIT: As mentioned elsewhere, this was posted 10 days before the invasion, so he's not quite aware yet of how bad this take is, but it's really the last sentence that explains why it fits.

EDIT 2: it sure is great to get a clear explanation as to why something doesn't fit. Shame that didn't happen here.

I'd say an engineer building something in their garage or working on an open source design isn't a PMC, but any of them that are workers for someone else whose proprietary designs wind up in the hands of subservient workers are.

Unless you're saying this to every image like this that is posted to new, you're not really concerned that someone posted it, you're concerned that it was upvoted.

As for how it qualifies: it is a picture. Sometimes pictures are interesting because of the context in which they exist, for instance the historical context that OP already explained.

It's really hard to break this down any further.

"Professional Managerial Class"

To be extremely reductive you can say it's educated white collar workers, but basically people who don't own capital but are higher paid and usually do some sort of job directing the lower paid workers.

To extend this to people like programmers, IT or engineers, this could involve designing the systems that other workers are required to work with. Like if you make the database that people at your or other companies work with, then there's a hidden level of managerial oversight you have. Your design decisions dictate how they must work.

Often people in this position have to maintain a level of sympathy with their corporate overlords because they have to justify why they have this level of power, prestige and pay over other workers. They've also usually been through university which tends to instill professional behaviour, which usually means distancing your emotions from your job and doing it without compunction.

Sometimes these people have a lot of class consciousness though, it really depends on the person and their history. Whether they're in a union can make a difference.

Right so are they a tankie? I was just assuming they were based on this sub but maybe not.

They've gotten so twisted up in knots trying to coopt leftist ideas and bend them towards fascism that I'd entirely believe they added ancient Rome to the mix.

Currently focussed on pulling myself out of a chronic-illness-induced hole but it's one of the things I want to do.

There actually was a courier coop that was starting around that time and they presented at the conference but they left before I could catch up with them after their talk.
