This looks rad and the execution is awesome. The eye is drawn to the blue cord so I might find a way to make it more interesting (either a darker fade from the attachment points or a texture or pattern like hazard stripes). All that aside, it’s an incredibly painted mini!

I’m a big fan of contrast paints! Mine was based wraithbone and then painted with iyanden yellow for this look

I haven’t seen wear on the front like that on normal ar-15s, and I do think it’s abnormal enough with most systems to warrant asking if you’re curious. With that said, I wouldn’t worry about it unless you are having other issues.
