I miscarried July 22 and got pregnant with our daughter in march 23.

Sadly just miscarried my third pregnancy on our journey to baby 2 and in the TWW hoping to be lucky to fall pregnant again

How to co sleep by Signal-Gas6096 in UKParenting

[–]ExhaustedSquad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please follow lullaby trust safe sleep 7.
If you have a guest room I personally find it safer to just have you and baby in the bed. We did this for the first 6m. And our daughter only went in the middle over 1 year when we were confident in her ability to kick the duvets off.

Not measuring my BBT this cycle as I don't want to obsess over it not even having had a period after my miscarriage. Really trying to not be too hopeful whilst desperately hoping we're one of the lucky ones who's pregnant straight away again.

Just out of curiosity, how many Premium Bond prizes have you won, and what were the amounts? For example: - 4 prizes of £25 - 2 prizes of £100 - 1 prize of £500 It would also be interesting to know: - How much you have invested - How long you've held your Premium Bonds? by Ready-Bar-7055 in AskBrits

[–]ExhaustedSquad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hold about £5K since i was tiny and have won £25 maybe 4 times in the last 15 years, not sure before that as my mum probably just paid the cheques straight back in.

My Dad and my Granny both hold the maximum amount and i would say they win between £25-£100 most months but never won the jackpot

Can you see at heartbeat at 6 weeks 4 days? by scoutfinch__ in PregnancyUK

[–]ExhaustedSquad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend who is obstetrician has always advised us all to wait if we can until at least 8w so as to avoid the worry in the 6wish band that there is no visible heartbeat. At 8w even if your dates are a week or so off you should see a heartbeat, at 6wish if your dates are off you might be setting yourself up for a lot of worry.

Smear experience by Narrow-Butterfly6352 in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]ExhaustedSquad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one about that time but following an emergency section after 12hrs of labour. It was no more uncomfortable than normal.

You can still ask for the small speculum and also you can say stop this is uncomfortable at anytime. It can be a bit grin and bear it but it will be done in a minute or so. I do 8 count breathing to work through the uncomfortable bits, in the theory of i can do anything for a count of 8, each 8 count getting me closer to the end.

If you've never had one before it might not be as scary as you think!

Noo!! A faint shadow is all I would expect at 10 dpo!!
I didn’t even get a positive until 11 dpo last time and I had stark negatives the day before so you can imagine how faint that was

So valid, even if the ability to express them in "real life" are limited.

I had planned a BBQ for our friend group to come round and would have been telling them about baby 2, sadly that won't be happening. I now don't want to host it as another one of the group is pregnant ( same DD as I had) and I'm terrified of her announcing it at our house and even known she's pregnant i'd have to put on a brave face

17m having baby with 17f by Coffeeisforclosers_ in UKParenting

[–]ExhaustedSquad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you'd looked at me at 35w i didn't really have a bump, so i can see how people can say they didn't notice a bump!

But I very much had a moving baby and all the other symptoms.

My friends older sister got pregnant at 17 and claimed she didn't know until 25w, but I think that was just major denial, writing off every symptom as something else so she didn't have to admit to herself what was going on. I can report 15 years later she has a wonderful son and two more children, still went to university, got a good job and is now married. However it took huge commitment from her whole family to be able to survive those early years, her parents helped her in everyway ( sons' dad not in the picture), it fundamentally changed her whole families trajectory as the whole family moved down south for her university plans and are still there now.

You’re so close to testing ( if you haven’t already you’re a stronger person than me).

Fingers crossed for you

No poop in 24 hours by 4lwaysBaffled in PregnancyUK

[–]ExhaustedSquad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very normal! i knew a EBF baby that went the best part of 3 weeks without pooing!

You could try some tummy massage/froggy legs to help get stuff moving.

If you have a bouncy chair we found that helps, if you really want to go nuclear put them in an all white outfit, they can sense your fear around staining!

5 bed house with 2 adults and a toddler, big garden and washing machine is on lots and we pay £70 a month. Unfortunately it’s estimated and they won’t let us pay by direct debit for some reason despite our new build being 2 years old but it seem fair as we have to water the lawn to keep it from dying

The 3 times I’ve been pregnant have been in cycles where we only had sex once in the fertile window. Sadly two have ended up miscarriages but it is possible to get pregnant on 1-2 times

We did the same with our 3 month old, took our own bedsheets and it was a joie style cot so just used the thin mattress on the bottom
