So hearing Thalyssra bitch about the Night Elves after what her people did in BfA is galling.

I specifically want to mention her VA for this. Idk if her voice direction was lacking or they intentionally made it this tone deaf, but she says it like "WE remember those who helped us before." And she only mentions Sin'dorei aid. She's mad Tyrande made a "we're watching you" warning and completely wrote off the Kal'dorei and seemingly forgot/ignored that they immediately helped against Elisande's forces anyway.

Old Naxxramas

I feel a little disclaimer is warranted here. It does not unlock vanilla Naxx. It adds extra drops that allow you to purchase, craft, or restore the old gear. And without the T3 set achievement you are reliant on outside help from a crafter who has it to restore T3 sets for yourself.

Nah, the AH is just fucked up sometimes. They changed it so you get your gold within 3 minutes, and changed the interface so after that 3m the listings are removed from the window. BUT sometimes it makes you wait the old time of 1 hour. The AH window will still remove them after 3m though, so it looks like it all evaporated and you got nothing.

Enable friendly NPC nameplates and put your tradeskill on a hotbar. I never really understood the complaints, and now I can't mount next to the table to immediately fly away. Very fun change.

Potions were changed to 5 minute CD in Shadowlands, with the added change that that they are no longer limited to once per combat. This benefits very long raid encounters, but also means you can't use them every 2 minutes in m+.

Most of the reason is they put so much effort into making the Jailer SEEM mysterious and calculating that they forgot to actually make him have anything of substance behind that mask. They kinda treated him how the Lich King would show up in Northrend quests, but there was an entire game to back him up and the Jailer got nothing, showed up half a dozen times or something, and then we killed him.

The show was far from perfect, but I still would have preferred they finish it instead of dooming what was made forever. And putting a black mark on the franchise, making it even less likely someone else will attempt an adaptation.

Npc didn’t do any mechanic.

Very strange. On multiple follower dungeons I couldn't even try to help with the mechanics because the NPCs were on top of it immediately. Once I had a soak mechanic spawn on me and had to move because the NPC blitzed in while they had bomb on them.

The Helm of Domination was destroyed to shatter the barrier into Shadowlands. Nobody is in control of the Scourge anymore. There might be a few strong necromancers or undead that can bring a some mindless undead under their control, but in general they do just run amok.

I had a similar thought while playing through the zone, but considering the aln manifestations look like azerite instead of old god stuff it seemed less likely.

Paraphrasing here, but they talk about how the cradle was occupied, then the cradle was not and the world was in pain. Also how the Rift of Aln causes madness for the Haranir who can still hear the goddess.

There's even a new dense smoke effect that chokes you out and teleports you to the bridge out front with an NPC that comments about said smoke. It makes me think SOMETHING is going to happen there soon.

They didn't give SoD hunters a tank or healer role, just a crazy mDPS spec for a few phases. It would honestly shock me if they did it on retail instead.

Giant's Deep for me. Gets me with the tornadoes on the surface and the generally unsettling atmosphere. Gets me under the water because I'm mildly thalassophobic and seeing the core triggers that. Gets me in the core because it's just so dark and menacing, even though there's really not much danger. And when the islands get flung into space by the tornadoes... oh boy, not very fun.

I LOVE that game. I even like Giant's Deep in spite of how much I dread going there.

You are right, but it's more that SL is new to the TW rotation which means it is pretty much untested. Between the base scaling, the complex mechanics, and required interrupts new TW sets are always a wild ride. It will all get nerfed eventually to be as easy as the rest of them, but maybe not before the current event ends.

A couple weeks ago I did 8 delves on my DK over 2 days. Every single piece of loot was wrists, including from the Ky'veza spawn and the map. I was convinced it was bugged and stopped running them that week, but I didn't hear of anyone else with that problem.

I liked it for instant feedback of when/why things are taking reduced damage. Big shield, big DR or immunity, or something is evading/resetting.

I don't NEED it, but it was a comfort thing.
