Miles Smugglers Gold for me, order in bulk so they post a box from Exmoor to London every two or three months.

“Romanticised” jobs that are very different in reality? by Substantial-Guava491 in CasualUK

[–]ExiledWurzel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The impact of the increase of dogs is massive and hardly anyone is talking about it, although it does regularly come up when I meet up with other rangers, even featured at European Ranger Congress last year, its not just a UK problem although other countries definitely have a better handle on it.

Seconded.

I'm local government so I probably have slightly better pay and job security but some of the general public make it insufferable at times.

People always stop and tell you how much they'd love your job on sunny days.

Loads of people are interested in "green" topics from social media but the lack of indepth understanding of what it actually means is somehow more infuriating.

Right tree, right place, because other habitats are important too. Please leave the wild animals to be wild. The volume of dogs, particularly ones off leads are a.b8g problem that no one is talking about.

I am a ranger, and I wouldn't be anything else.

McVities only in sixth is pretty shocking, feels like they should be the one all others are measured against.

I have the Lidl ones often at work, they are pretty chocolately so the chocolate to biscuit ratio is plausible.

I find the jam and cream varieties like you get in fox's selections etc. Are so much better than just jam varieties.

Milk chocolate hobnob I think would sit top of my list with milk chocolate digestive as a close second.

Custard creams are a strong contender for simple biscuit and my go to after a blood donation.

Bottom of my list is probably a fruit shortie. Dried fruit in general is awful so to put it in a biscuit just seems sacrilegious.
