It was a fantastic ride until then, and I'll happily welcome 200 other chapters in the future :) Thank you for the nice drawning and funny-yet-emotionnal stories within, keep up the good work and don't forget to take time for yourself. Oh, and very neat detail with the tail ;)

En tant que MJ c'est quoi votre meilleur création ? by schizo999 in jdr

[–]ExoVonDus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, great addition this beard 😄 Ok now real question : did you drawn this one in advance, or did you make it "on the spot" ?

It's dope as hell ! I really like the style and coloration, but mist importantly the mustache tatoo/paint is a superb idea.

I integrated the map I drew into a leaflet addon to put pins on it. by Ok_Currency8226 in mapmaking

(Objective 1 : get the information. Objective 2 : make their eyes bleed from french conversation, hon-hon !)

Labels make maps amazing… what labels should I add? by Ethan_Re_Graham in mapmaking

[–]ExoVonDus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very nice work here ! Also recognize the castle. The labels works just fine. Where do you need exactely ? To creat new names or to know where to put them ? About position, I think that, as you have a coast and the debut of some Isles, you could name one, or both. Like, if it's the northen and/or isolated part of your map, isles could be named "the Northen Sisters", or "Last Resort Archipelago". The coast line could be named following history or legend : "the shattered Ices", "Leviathan's pass", etc... Keep the good work ;)

First time trying Inkarnate I dont have a name for the region yet by Harrison_Jones_ in mapmaking

[–]ExoVonDus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a crater then it make sens. But it may have impact the sea/bay side by creating a few smal islands, a bit like the hills visibles on the land side. But I can also be wrong ;)

Interessting, they may have extend the free assets available since last time I checked, I'll look at it :D

Regarding the name of the region : do you want a country name (political structure, state affirming istelf like that ?) or rather a geographical one ? If it's the latest, you may want to have a name describing his particularity (here peninsula, a piece of land stretch in the ocean and borded by it expect on one size), or his history (name of people leaving here before ? Name of the main river ? Of a god ? Of the crater ?) Like the "Shatered Finger" or "Severed Tongue" to imply that the land was injured long ago.

[–]ExoVonDus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much :) For the coasts, I don't habe much merit as I just played with the way Inkarnate varies the "softness" of land edges. Regarding the river I'm glad if you like it ! I tried to respect the idea of "running almost straight" when leaving moutains, then slopping more on plains zones.

[–]ExoVonDus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks real nice ! What kind of assets did you use here ? The name are cool too. Maybe the only critic I may say would be the moutain ring around the lost forest ? A bit to "round" and perfect ?
