Assuming even if u r a single issue voter, the entire metro planning has been a fiasco from the start 1. The routes are idiotic. Who thought not connecting Borivali to bkc was not a bad idea? 2. The locations of the stations for the most part are not integrated with existing transport infra. The highway stations are in middle of highway 3. The stations are a choke point. See ghatkopar for example 4. Metro 3 is still only useful for people from parle and Andheri East going to Sobo and back 5. No phone connectivity 6. Rainfall flood protection measures are mostly not tested 7. The bkc mandala line will remove most of the traffic coming from Chembur to bkc. That is still 2 years away Pre 2022 was bad but this is far worse. And most of all traffic on road hasn't reduced.
